-Selena's POV

As I sit on the couch with a now half sober Jason, I can see out of the corner of my eye, his face glued to the tv. I think to myself 'How can i be falling for someone I barely know?

"Jay?" I ask "mmm" he hums in response. How did you become such a cold hearted killer? What happened to make you this way?.. I slowly ask, his jaw tightened, looking at me with his dark eyes, "What is that supposed to mean?! Cold hearted killer!!? He spat, raising his voice in anger. "I mean, I'd just like to know about your past.. Parents? Family? Why aren't any of them around. His eyes softened, inhaling a deep breath before breathing out "My parents died in a bombing, I was only young but I was old enough to know what was going on. My dad was a gang leader as well, another gang was after him wanting pay back.. He blew up our house, I don't know how i survived but I did. I followed in his footsteps, taking on his 'Business' But look at me now? I'm the most wanted man in America". He let out a small chuckled before looking at me. I was captivated by his words "I.. I had no idea" I manage to choke out. "Sel, I'm not a bad guy. I mean I'm not as bad as everyone makes out to be, I'm a good guy I just need you to help me with this. I feel horrible for taking you, but you were just so fucking beautiful;. I couldn't help it and I guess the criminal In me took over. But if I let you go I know you'll go straight to the cops, and I can't Sel, I can't go to Jail, not now". The hurt and pain in his eyes made my heart ache. "I'm not going anywhere Jay, I promise, I'll help in everyway I can" I say placing my hands on his "Thank you so much Selena, A tear threatening to escape his eye. He hugs me tightly burying his head into my chest. And with that, we cuddle up on the couch continuing to watch the show Jay had picked out for us to watch, he was so fascinated by it. It was cute.

I feel for this boy, he was so broken, so torn and empty. I need to fix him. I wanted him to feel again, to love again.. I want him happy, I don't know why.. But I needed him happy
