Party

"It's gonna be fine", Neymar said while pulling me into his arms, "I'll protect you".

"No I don't want to be a burden, go have fun with your friends", I responded.

"You are my best friend, and I'm not going to this party without my best friend", Neymar stated.

You see Neymar is trying to persuade me into going to a 4th of July party with him. I'm starting to guess that it would be best if I did go because Neymar can get a little out of hand when no one is watching him. I have to be a good friend and be there for him.

"Fine, latoso", I answered

"Thank you so much", he cheered while pulling me into a bear hug.

"Mhmmm", I sneered

Neymar walked towards my front door to leave.

"I'll pick you up at 7 tonight", he then said.

"Got it, bye Ney", I responded while waving goodbye to him.

"Bye preciosa", Neymar shouted.

I heard the door shut and with that I decided to first go lock my door and second find out what I would wear. Obviously everyone would be wearing American flag apparel so I started with that. I picked out a tie dye red white and blue crop top with light denim high wasted shorts and white high top converse. After picking out my outfit I headed to my bathroom to take a nice shower. I dried myself with the towel then wrapped it around my body as I blow dried my hair. By the time I did all that it was 6 and I rushed to change and put my makeup on. Neymar arrived at my house 10 minutes late. He walked up to my door and rung the doorbell and once I heard it I hurried to the door and grabbed my purse.

"You never fail to look amazing", Neymar said with awe.

"Close your mouth and let's get this over with", I joked while making my way to his car.

"Anything for my lady", he joked back.

"But that's the thing I'm not your lady", I tease as I got into his car. Me and Neymar have never been or discussed us being a couple, but that doesn't mean I never thought about. Neymar is one of the good ones, he has a good heart plus he's super funny and sarcastic. But what I feel for him doesn't matter because he doesn't feel the same back and I've gotten used to it, we're better as friends anyways.

Neymar drove us off in his white Audi, which he has named Diana. As he drove we had all sorts of odd conversations.

"What was your signature move with the ladies, I forgot it", I asked excitedly.

"1. it hurts my heart that you forgot my famous pickup line and 2. it goes a little like this....'Hello my name is Neymar and that's a nice shirt you've got on, can I take you out of it?' ", Neymar smirked while telling me his line.

"My god Neymar", I laughed while nodding my head in disapproval.

"Do you have a better pickup line?", he argued looking at me for a second.

"Ummm I don't need one, all I do is say 'Hi I'm (y/n)' and that works like a charm", I laugh at myself when I realize how lame my line is.

My laughing grew as Neymar joined in and we both laughed like idiots at my dumb pickup line.

"I bet it does work like a charm", he sarcastically replied while looking at the road ahead.
