Chapter 15: The Second Task

I was sitting in the library with Hermione, Ron, and my brother. We were researching ways for Harry to survive in the Black Lake. There was one of Fred, George's and mines fake rubber wands in my hand. I was sword fighting Ron with one of them.

I caught Madame Pince's eye- she gave Ron and I a disapproving stare. Ron and I shuddered; Madame Pince could be scary when she wanted to. So, basically, all of the time.

"Miss Potter, Miss Granger." Professor McGonagall called as she walked up to us girls.

"Yes professor?" Hermione asked her, curious as to why she wanted to see us.

"Follow me to my office."

Our eyes went wide as we walked with her. We hadn't done anything...

Well, Hermione hasn't, but I have.

"It was all Hermione, Professor. She forced me to do it!"

"Your not in trouble, Potter!"

"I'll serve five detentions- wait, what?"

"Your needed for the Second Task!"

"Oh. Just forget that that even happened, then..." I innocently said, smiling sheepishly.

McGonagall just rolled her eyes.

I don't really remember the rest; all I know was that McGonagall fed me and Hermione something and then...

It all went black.

~ Harry's P.O.V. ~

I heard Neville say out loud, "OH MY GOD. I KILLED HARRY POTTER!"

So, I flipped out of the water, and did a back flip to show him that I was alive. I somehow imagined him rolling his eyes at me and sighing with relief as I swam down into the Black Lake.

I saw multiple creatures that we had learned about last year with Professor Lupin.

Meaning that I saw Grindalows, and a bunch of other magical under water creatures. I didn't see the mermaids though. I wonder if they'll be put into play? Most likely.

While swimming downwards, I saw the other champions and they're ways to be able to breath underwater.

I saw Krum; he had managed to do a charm that turned his head into a sharks, and he had dorsal Finns, and gills, and everything like that.

I looked over and I saw Cedirc. Cedric was using a bubble head charm.

A bubble head charm, I think, is a charm that puts a bubble around your head (der tuh dum). The bubble is full of air so that you can breath and not die underwater. I only know that because I looked at Madison's text books and other books she has over the summer... Sh.... Don't tell her....

My eyes looked around for Fleur Delacoure. I finally found her; she was swimming upwards, towards the surface. Surely she can't be done already?

Then I noticed the Grindalow scratches and bites all over her.

Yea, she might want to get to Madame Pomfrey... It might help...

Anyway, I snapped out of my day dreaming, and I continued to swim downwards. I wonder how much time I have left...

I swam behind Krum, and I noticed that there were four bodies up against a rock, tied down.

The bodies were: Hermione Granger, Grabiel Delacoure (Fleur's sister), Cho Chang and Madison Potter.
