Kane pulled up alongside the forest. I got out and immediatly felt a strong pull pulling me toward the forest.

"This is it," I breathed. Char nodded next to me. I turned to Kane.

"Thanks," I said.

"No prob, just come back to the pack house when you're done," he said. He reached over and closed my open door, then sped off. Making gravel fly into our faces.

"Well then!" Char exclaimed. I walked the length of the forest, trying to find where the pull was the strongest. It was strongest at a small deer trail.

"C'mon," I nudged Char. We pushed through the bushes.

A while later, after endless minutes of pushing through bushes and tree limbs, we burst into a small meadow. The pull was strong here. The meadow was a regular meadow. Filled with daisy's and other flowers. A small stream ran through the center and a few small boulders surrounded it. I walked forward and sat on one of the boulders. I cupped my hands and reached into the cool water. I brought my hands up to my mouth and took a sip. Char watched me with wide eyes.

"Is that dangerous?" Char asked. I shrugged and finished drinking. I turned toward Char, who stood next to my boulder that I was still sitting on, and started going over ideas of how we should do this. Suddenly, there was a rustling in the bushes behind us, and a growl. I turned around to see two abnormaly large wolves come out, growling and snarling at us.

"Is that them?" Char asked. I felt myself be pulled toward the larger of the wolves.

"Yeah," I whispered as I stood up. I took slow steps toward it, expecting it to run off. I saw the terror in both wolves eyes, they had no experience with humans. It hunched down ready to pounce and fight... or kill me. I reached into my pocket and took out the dagger. The wolf saw and charged at me. I gasped as it closed the space between us with incredible speed and in no time at all. Char screamed as it tackled me, causing the other wolf to run at her.

My wolf tackled me to the ground. I don't know how I did it but I kept the wolves massive, deadly jaws from my face. I used all my strength and energy, I don't know how I could even hold the wolf above me, I have no upper body strength. I manuvered the dagger in my hand and stabbed it through the wolves heart. It let out a loud whimper before it fell next to me, dead. That was enough to distract the other wolf. It stood up and turned toward its fallen companion. Char took that as her que and punctured the wolves heart with her dagger. It whimpered and fell to the ground, dead.

Oh my god, I just killed a wolf! I thought. I looked at Char and saw tears in her eyes.

"We just killed two innocent beautiful wolves..." she trailed off. I nodded, tears threatening to spill. We are murderers.

I started toward Char, when I felt a searing pain in my heart. I gasped and fell to the ground. Char screamed and fellt o the ground.

"What the hell?" I gasped. The pain took over my whole body quickly. All I felt before I blacked out was a feiry pain covering my body. Then my world went dark.

Char's P.O.V.:

Pain. Pain is all I felt. It started in my heart and consumed my whole body.

"What the hell?" Cale gasped from a few feet away. I figured two things could be happening right now. 1) we're having heart attacks 2) our wolves are entering our souls. Since option one didn't make much scense, I figured it was our wolves are entering our souls.

Then the pain became unbearable. I cried out and welcomed the soothing feeling of unconciousness.
