"But he hurt his ankle" you huff at the door man. "Look, miss. I'm sorry the elevators are broken. Would you like some assistance helping your boyfriend down the stairs" he asked politely. "No thank you" you sigh, walking away to the stair case.
You walk into the your apartment, "I'm sorry, eth. The elevators won't be working till tomorrow" you sigh. You and eth were supposed to be meeting gray at in-n-out. He spent the night at your apartment and hurt his ankle by tripping last night. "But, I'll help you" you promise. Wrapping his arm around your neck and walking out the door.
You were about 10 steps from the bottom when eth lost his balance and his weight suddenly shifted on you. You shrieked as your foot slipped, but you pushed eth off of you so he wouldn't fall. You slid down falling on your hip and sliding down hard, rolling into your stomach and banging your head as your body rolled onto the floor. "Angel. Are you okay" you heard Ethan beg, fumbling down the stairs. The doorman ran over and helped you up. You were dizzy and saw dots. "Are you okay miss" he asked worriedly. "I don't know" you slurred. You felt a horrible throbbing in your ribs, and were pretty sure you at least bruised the bone. Ethan hobbled over and kissed your bleeding forehead and the dark bruise on your forehead. "Are you okay princess. Do you need the doctor" he asked, worried. "I think I'm fine. I just want to eat, sweetie. I feel a lil sick" you mumble. He nods and grips your hand. "Would you like us to pull your vehicle to the front so you don't have to walk all the way through the parking garage" he asked nicely. "Yes please" you answered, handing him your car keys. "It's a black 2015 Impala in parking garage D" you told him. He nodded and walked to the garage. You leaned on each other and hobbled to one of ten lobby couches.
You explained to the pharmacist what you and eth nodded as he sat in the car. "Um, I would recommend an ankle brace for your boyfriend and just some pain medication and ice for you. You'll probably want to go the doctors though" she informed. You nodded and picked out all the supplies.
That night, you cuddled on the couch with Ethan. "Baby, I'm sorry I pushed you" Ethan mumbled, looking down ashamed. "What are you talking about Hun" you asked. He sat up, "it's been bothering me all day. It was my fault you fell" he sighed, with glossy eyes. You pecked his cheek, "sweetie, you didn't push me, I tripped" you reasoned. "Cause I leant on you" he sighed sadly. You put your finger under his chin and made him look at you. You swept your thumb over his soft, quivering lip. "It wasn't your fault" you whispered. "Yes it was" he argued, ashamed with a tear running down his chiseled, tan face. Your heart broke as you pecked away at his salty tears. "You needed me to help. You heart your ankle. It wasn't your fault I helped you" you tried to explain. He looked up at you, "I'm sorry" he whimpered again. "Baby" you sighed. He got up and started pacing, "you know how hurt you could've got. I knew I shouldn't had put my weight on you. I knew it would be pushing your limits but I let you help me anyway cause I'm selfish" he scolded himself. You got up and kissed his pink lips, "Ethan. It wasn't your fault. You weren't selfish. You had a hurt ankle and needed help down the stairs. It was my fault for losing my balance. I should've been able to handle it. You can't blame yourself, sweetheart" you cooed softly. He looked at you and brought you into a gentle hug, careful of your ribs. "I never wanna hurt you again" he mumbled in your neck. "I know bup, I know" you sigh, playing with his dark hair.
