It was a year after Kagome and Sesshomaru broke up. Kagome got a new job and moved to America while Sesshomaru still stayed in Japan and was still working at the same place.

I don't like walking around this old and empty house

Kagome was walking around in her house. It was a big mansion. She had a really good job as a singer and model and had every male at her feet but she felt empty ever since she and Sesshomaru broke up.

So hold my hand, I'll walk with you, my dear

Sesshomaru was in his home. A big penthouse. He opened a door and looked at a photo that he still kept. It was one of Kagome and Sesshomaru holding hands when they both decided to buy the penthouse together. "Hold my hand." Whispered Sesshomaru as he held the picture close.

The stairs creak as I sleep, it's keeping me awake

Kagome was in her bed and trying to sleep but she never could. She needs Sesshomaru. She had no life with out him. She could hear movement, stairs creaking. It's keeping her awake. Tears made there way into her eyes and down to her pillow.

It's the house telling you to close your eyes

Sesshomaru was also awake. He remembered how Kagome would say that she heard a ghost and then she would snuggle closer to him. He would tell her that the house was telling her to close her eyes and go to sleep.

And some days I can't even trust myself

It was Kagome's last day in America and she was trying to get changed into her favorite outfit. A blood red top with a white crescent moon at the bottom left of the top and a pair  white of shorts. While she was putting them on she just kept crying. The crescent moon reminded her of Sesshomaru.

It's killing me to see you this way

Every day that has passed in the year Sesshomaru felt himself dying inside, wondering if Kagome would be with an other man. He was stupid, cheating with Kagome with her best friend. Now no one has connection with her, not even her family or friends.

Hey! Hey! Hey!

Every one missed Kagome but not as much as Sesshomaru. He just wants one chance to prove to Kagome that he changed.

There's an old voice in my head that's holding me back

Every time Kagome would try to date some one else, a voice was nagging her. Telling her to stop. Telling her that she still loves Sesshomaru and how they would spend their time together and talk.

Well tell her that I miss our little talks

Sesshomaru missed every thing about Kagome. Ever since Kagome left he would get drunk. He just wants to talk to her. Just one little talk.

Soon it will be over and buried with our past

Kagome walked towards the shop to get some thing but every where she went she saw cameras and heard people shouting her name. It reminded her of Sesshomaru. Where ever they go there would at least be a camera but their home. Their home, more like his home or Sesshomaru's and Sango's home now, thought Kagome.

We used to play outside when we were young

Sesshomaru looked at a picture of him and Kagome when they were young. It was a normal routine. He would look at that exact picture and think back to the past.
