I shoot up ad soon as I can move and instantly regret it.
"Owwsie!" I yelp when my head makes contact with a hard surface.
"Hello." Sesshomaru says, looking down at me since I was in his arm.
"Hiiiii" I groan then remember what happened.
"How would I become his mate? I'm already yours and I have your mark." I say with a worriedly curious look.
"If he had the ability to get near you, he would put his mark over top of mine. Our connection would weaken slightly but not enough to say that I'm no longer your mate." He said, growling slightly.
"Hey, calm down." I say and kiss him. When his eyes went back to the molten gold, I ask
"How long will the pregnancy last?" I ask, placing a hand on my stomach
"6 to 7 months. The child will be born the size of a human new born and will grow at the pace of a human yet still have demon powers. Demon children usually stop growing around the age of 16 or 18." He said  and gave me a grin
"What names do you like? We should probably decide before we reach my mother's palace." He said and my eyes widened
"I'm meeting your mom!?" I squeaked
"Yes, you don't have anything to worry about except she might dress you up like a doll." He says, slightly chuckling
I hop out of his arms and look around
"Where's Rin?" I ask slightly worried.
"With Jaken and A-un getting food. You still haven't eaten yet, and Rin was hungry." He said and pulled me back into his lap.
"Do you know if I have any powers?" I suddenly blurt out, I scared myself and even felt the slightest of jumps from Sesshomaru.
"Nature based. You can probably communicate with animals and plants." He says
"Oooohhhhhhhhh, sounds fun! Now, since you are lord of the west, that makes me lady of the west?"
He nodds
"Good. That means I can start working on a peace between the humans and demons!" I say excitedly and jump up.
"Putting humans in an army of demons is unexpected and therefore, an opponent would not expect the humans to be the threat because they were busy fighting our demons." I say and start pacing.
"A peace between species would also gain a fair amount of people's interests, so eventually we could convince other lands to join with ours because we are the ones who know how to keep the peace.
We'd be rich in land and we would have many followers. Sure there would be uprisings, but we could easily stop those with a small section of warriors and a few speakers so we could at least try and avoid unnecessary deaths." I finish and look to my mate for an opinion but see that he is just gapping at me.
"I also have this idea for orphaned children. If we give them a place to stay as well as suply food, they must start training to become warriors at about 14. Or they could be trained in medicine if they prefer the less violent option." I say and grin. When I look at my mate, I remember his hate for humans and my smile falters. Rin is the only human he tolerates.
"How did you think of this so quickly?" He asks
"In my time, people of different skin colours didn't get along. It's known as racism. I've always wanted to do something to help with everyone having equality." I say with a shrug
"You are correct about how your idea will gain us power. I may not like humans, but for power, I will tolerate their existence. But I will kill them if they defy you or myself." He said and I raised an eyebrow
"The whole kill thing, it needs to depend on the extent of what they have done. They murdered someone? Kill them.
They make a rumour about 'your mysterious new mate', a simple warning would suffice." I said and he slowly nodded.

After about 10 more minutes, Rin came back with a bundle of fish while Jaken and A-un followed behind her.
"I brought the fish!" She said happily and turned towards me
"Do you want me to cook yours?" She asked and I looked at her as if she had grown another head.
"Is something wrong?" She asked
"Is don't eat meat sweety. But I'll get some vegetables from the next village........ do you not put spices on it?" I ask and she returns my look.
"I'll take that as a no. Leave the fish here and I'll show you what you can put on it for flavour." I say and stand up
"Okay mo- Lady Willow." She said happily, I think she was about to call me mom and just the thought of her doing so made me smile.
I hold my hand out to her which she hesitantly takes, while she holds my hand she gives me a questioning look.
"Rin, you don't have to call me lady. You may call me mom if you would like." I say with a big smile that she returns.
"Now let's go give you that herb lesson." I say
"Okay, Momma!"

"And this, is rosemary. It has a mint-ish flavour but is really good to eat when you have a stuffy nose." I say and she nods, grabbing a handful and stuffing it into the small pouch I made out of leaves.
"Ready to go back?" I ask
"Rin is ready!" She says happily and jumps up, grabbing my arm. I stand up but get hit with a wave of dizziness resulting in me falling back down.
"LORD SESSHOMARU!" Rin yells as ten ogres jump out of the bushes to surround us.
I manage to stand up and grab Rin, growling at the ogres.
"We'll cook the child and I get first round with the female." The tallest one said and all the others groaned.
I growl even louder while glaring at the one who spoke, I don't know what happened but he screamed while clutching his head and fell to the ground. I covered Rins eyes when blood started to leak from his eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" A shorter one yelled at me.
"I don't have a clue.......... leave." I growl, trying not to show that there was a stabbing pain in my lower abdomen.
Then a brown one takes a step closer to me and grins.
"This one's mated and pregnant." He says mischievously and all of them start to get closer.
Okay, what to do, what to do?

I've got it!
Sesshomaru said I might be able to control nature so that's what I'm going to try.
I relax and focus on tree roots surfacing and wrapping around the ankles of the ogres. There are a few grunts and I see that they are all hanging in mid air.
"Rin, go get Sesshomaru." I say and sit on the ground. She doesn't even respond, just runs in the direction we came from. Not even 20 seconds later, Sesshomaru is kneeling next to my hunched figure.
"What happened?" He asked.
"I got dizzy, ogres attacked, I glared, it died, they smelt, I'm pregnant, they closed in, I relaxed, roots captured them, I sent Rin to you." I say in about 5 seconds until I break down into a pile of whimpers, clutching my stomach.
Sesshomaru gives me a look of concern before slicing the heads off all of the ogres.
I curl up into a ball with tears streaming down my face.
"I'm taking you to see my mother. Our pup seems to be growing faster than the average." Sesshomaru says and picks me up so that I am on his back. I wrap my arms around his shoulders and my legs around his waist while shakily breathing in his scent with my head buried in the crook of his neck.
"Jaken, A-un, watch Rin." Sesshomaru says and I get light headed as he ascends into the air.
After about 20 minutes of going 80 MPH, he descends into a castle.
"Is this your mother's palace?" I ask with gritted teeth.
"It is, I will be leaving you here for a few days so I may go to our home and dig you a birthing den." He says and I tighten my grip.
"If you do not want to stay with my mother, I will leave you with your human friend." He says and I almost scream for joy.
"My son, how long it has been." A woman with pigtails says in a very stuck up tone.
I don't like her, and by his body language, I don't think my mate does either.
I make eye contact with the woman and she gasps.
"You have found a mate?!" She exclaims
"Yes. But the pup is causing her pain." Sesshomaru says warrily.
"When did you mate?" She asks
"3 days ago." He replies
"Oh, it's because you are a royal, our pups grow almost twice as fast. I was only pregnant with you for 4 months." She says as the pain starts up again. I tighten my grip on Sesshomaru while holding my breath.
"Oh, when did her heat start?" She asked
"3 days ago." He replied
"Oh, the child is growing and she is still in heat." She says and I groan
"You can't smell it because the pup causes her heat to smell like a normal day. So you now know what to do to help. It may be really uncomfortable, but it gets rid of the pain." She says and Sesshomaru nods, walking out of the doors and down a hall.
"Where are we going?" I ask
"To bathe." He says
