Josh Imagine For Aiofe

Today I was graduating from college, I couldn't wait! it was a happy day but at the same time a sad day. 2 years ago I had to leave Ireland to go to England for my college, and 6 months ago today Josh had said to me "I will marry you when you graduate college, I promise" but sadly that promise was broken, I had to tell Josh I was leaving Ireland and he was ok with it at first but he struggled and struggled more each day till eventually he couldn't stick it anymore with me being away so we broke up 4 months ago. I was absolutely heartbroken but I understand as I know it's hard not having them with you and not being able to see them, but I was hurting too not being able to see him, I couldn't concentrate properly, I couldn't spend time with friends as it reminded me of Josh cause we always went out together, it just left me broken.

We haven't spoke ever since we split, at all. But today was graduation so I had to be strong and go out there looking proud! It wasn't long before I was ready and heading down to where everyone was. They made us line up and go on to a stage type thing to collect our certificates, when my name was called I made my way up and everyone clapped "congratulations to Aiofe Hennessy, for achieving 2 years of college" everyone clapped as I smiled and turned to walk away "wait!" I heard someone shout, I recognised that voice from anywhere "Josh?" I said turning round to see an out of breathe Josh running down the grass as the event was outside "what are you doing here? How did you get here?" "Hi to you too, your about to see and I got a plane this morning, I couldn't miss my baby graduating" He said to me smiling as he asked could he speak a second "I'm not our 'baby' anymore, but go on..." I said sighing, what does he want. "Ok, em, do you remember the words I said to you a few months back?" He said looking nervous "how could I possibly forget, they were the words that have played over in my head ever since we split up! I will marry you when you graduate college, I promise" I said mocking him but then realised we said at the same time causing everyone including us to laugh a little "what about them?" I reply looking sad "yeh well I still love you and it was stupid of me to be so stuck up saying I couldn't cope you being away when clearly you were in the same position as me, which is why" he said kneeling down and pulling out a box "I want you, Aiofe Hennessy to become Aiofe Gray" he said opening the box as you stand there shaking "will you marry me?" He said looking up at you as you just cover your mouth and nod, as he stands up and slips the ring on to your finger you hear clapping and cheering and you eventually burst in to tears as you hug and kiss Josh.

It was the day of the wedding and the house was full of my bridesmaids and family and everything, the same over at Josh's but only the lads and his family you were so nervous but at the same time so happy that Josh had apologised and said he was stupid for being like that. It was currently 8am and I had booked a hairdresser and makeup artist round to the house to get me all ready for my big day! The reception was at 2pm so I told the girls that were doing my hair and makeup just to go ahead with it.

Once I were ready, in my dress and everything it was 1:30pm, myself and Josh hadn't seen each other for 3 days as we didn't wanna see each other till the wedding. I looked at my appearance in the mirror to see my dress was beautiful, the lovely silver sparkly shoes, my makeup was just stunning and my hair was perfect, I was nearly in tears at how beautiful the ladies had made me. I then turned to face my mum with tears in my eyes, but she had already beat me to it, I couldn't help but laugh a little "oh mum" I say as you go over and hug her "I-I'm sorry its just s-seeing my gorgeous daughter grow u-up and then you'll p-probably leave the house  and start your own F-family which I'm H-happy about, but it's j-just s-seeing you move on is t-tuff" she said through tears, hugging me back, I couldn't help but smile "even if I do move on and start a family, it won't be far from you because there is no way I could live without seeing you" I whisper in her ear as we pull away smiling "I will never love Josh as much as I love my family" I say kissing my her on the cheek as everyone 'awe's'. "Don't tell Josh I said that" I say laughing as everyone joins in "We should get going"
I laugh as we all leave the house.

"I Josh Gray take Aiofe Hennessy to be my loftily wedded wife" Josh repeats smiling at me
"In sickness and in health, till death do us part"
"In sickness and in health, till death do us part" Josh finishes (I don't know the whole wedding vows thing so don't blame me😂)
"Now you Aiofe, I Aiofe Hennessy take Josh Gray to be my loftily wedded husband"
"I Aiofe Hennessy take Josh Gra-sorry" I say struggling to speak as I wipe a few tears from my eye as me and Josh both laugh a little "Josh Gray to be my loftily wedded husband"
"In sickness and in health, till death do us part"
"In sickness and in health till death do us part" I finish

"Now, Josh, do you take Aiofe Hennessy to be your loftily wedding wife?"
"I do" Josh smiles, tearing up.
"Aiofe, do you take Josh Gray to be your loftily wedded husband?"
"I-I do" I say as tears slowly run down my cheeks
"Well then, I now pronounce you husband and wife, Josh, you may now kiss the bride" Josh smiles as he learns in and we kiss as we hear claps and cheers. We pull apart and make our way back down the isle smiling like crazy. Now time for the party 🎉

Can I just say Josh with a beard is just 😍😩 also this is the last chapter so this book is coming to an end, for now. I'll keep the requests open.
Im really sorry as I don't know the whole wedding vow thing but at least I tried? 😂
