*Gina's' POV*
"Ginaaaaaaaaa I'm back." Geo yelled as he came thundering up the stairs. By the time he got to my room, I was finish lacing up my boot.
"Yeah. I'm ready." I grabbed my phone off of the charger and stuck it in my back pocket and walked over to where Geo was waiting by the door. Which is weird because he usually sits on my bed while I finish getting ready.
"Are you okay, Geo" I asked looking him up and down.
"Uh, yeah I'm fine. Um lets go." He said turning and walking down the stairs. I shut the door to my bedroom and head downstairs. My parents were cuddling in the living room when I walked in.
"Hey, Geo and I are going to Dusk Maddox's party." I say bending down to give them both a kiss.
"M'kay." my dad mumbled before going back to the TV.
"Be safe and don't drink"my mom said.
After agreeing I walked out to Geo's car. He looked nervous waiting for me in the car. As soon as I got in the car, he pulled out of the driveway. Because Dusk's house was only five minutes away, we didn't really talk. By the time we got there the party was in full swing. Usually Geo stays by my side, but tonight he walked off as soon as we walked in.
"Gina" called a familiar voice. I turned and saw Jamie standing next to me. Jamie and I met when we were in the seventh grade. Her family had just moved to town. Dusk and her crew tried to recruit her the first day but Jamie turned them down. We became instant friends after that.
"Hey Jamie" I say. Jamie was wearing white dress with cheetah print heels. No matter where Jamie goes she always looks like she stepped right out of a magazine.
"So you ready to get drunk bitch or what" Jamie asked moving towards the kitchen. She loved to drink and was always trying to get me to drink with her.
"I don't think so Jaime. You know how I feel about this type of stuff."
"Come on. Just one and I'll leave you alone" Jaime says picking up a red cup passing it to me.
"Fine but only one" I say taking the cup out of her hands. As I take the first sip it burns as it goes down. But by the time in done with the first one Jaime has already had her third. She was making out with some guy who was in our English class, so I go to find Geo. I walked around every room and finally find him also making out with some girl.
"Are you as bored as I am" a deep voice behind me asked. I turned around and saw a guy with the bluest eyes I've ever seen.
"Yeah all my friends seem to be making out with people." I say looking him up and down.
"I'm Hugo by the way." He says. Then suddenly he turned and walked out upstairs. I ran after him but by the time I got to the hallway, I didn't see him. I went into the first room on my right. It was empty but the door to the balcony was open. As I went out on it I was Hugo leaning against the railing.
"Hugo, what's wrong" I asked going and standing next to him.
"Yeah, I'm fine"He says not looking at me.
"No your not. So come on tell me what made your run out of there" I say nudging his shoulder.
"I don't even know your name, why would I tell you my deep dark secrets" he say moving away.
"Well first it's Gina. Second because you need someone to talk to, and I'm not exactly doing anything right now. So spill" I say looking at him. Slowly he turned and looked at me.
"Well I just broke up with my boyfriend because he didn't think it was time to come out of the closet. I wanted to be more open about it instead of hiding with him all the time. But he was scared of what his family would think. " He says looking down at his feet.
"Well I think he made the wrong choice. If I was gay and you were my boyfriend I'd totally tell my parents about us. But think about all the good things that come from this. There's a sea full of guys who would love to date you without having to hide you away. " I say grinning ear to ear up at him. He looked down and smiled back.
"I think this going to blossom into a beautiful friendship G-Bear" Hugo says smirking at me.
"Of course. Only we have to come up with a better nickname." I say laughing.
