Car crash

Jacob's POV
I woke up next to (y/n), she was still sleeping. I was going to get up and make pancakes, but she had her arms wrapped around me, so I just stayed in bed with her. I fell back asleep for about an hour, then my phone went off, I checked it, it was my mom saying she had to go to work early and Emmy got picked up so where home alone. I turned around and cuddled to (y/n), when she woke up she looked at me and smiled, then cuddled back, "my mom left for work early today and Emmy got picked up, so its just me and you." I said "when does your mom get home from work?" she asked me "around 5:30, unless she's working late." I said. A few minutes later her phone went off "it's just my dad." she said, it looked like she was about to cry, I sat up with her and hugged her "what happened?" I asked her worried.

Your POV
The text was from my dad saying him and my mom where in a car crash, my mom died, but my he was alive. I was trying not to cry. When Jacob looked at me and asked what happened I put my head on his shoulder and started to cry a bit "my mom died, and my dad is in the hospital because they got in a car crash last night." I said now fully crying "it'll be ok, you're a beautiful, smart, sweet, girl and I'm sure every guy dreams of being with a girl like you. You've already accomplished so much from what I know, and I know you've already been through a lot, and had to deal with it alone, but this time it's going to be different, because you're not alone, I'm here for you no matter what." He said softly and hugged me "I'm not any of those things, and I've been through way more then you think." I started to say but I was stopped by him kissing me "you are all of those things and more, I know I don't know everything but, one thing I do know is that I like you and I don't care what you say or do nothing can change that." he said "I like you to." I said and smiled "(y/n) will you be my girlfriend." he asked "yes." I said and kissed him.
