"name, species?" asked the robot that guarded the entrance of what had to be the biggest building I had ever seen in my entire life. "Hakura Hara, I am a mix breed." the robot made a beeping noise and repeated "species?" "Dragon and dark fairy" I said reluctantly. The robot made a second beep took a snapshot of my face. "please insert ID card and take out your student ID number and code, then proceed to the room 674" I followed his instruction I sighed at the new ID picture I had one eye closed and my white hair was frizzy "great what a beautiful picture" I mumbled. I searched around the crowded room, there were all sorts of people. I saw a small group of fairies a few elves, dwarfs, merpeople, a dragon. And several others looked like humans but I knew that they were some kind of crazy creature underneath. "is this really a school?" I wondered aloud. "of course it is" said someone out of where, I turned to see a merman, he looked to old to be a student everyone else in the room didn't seem to be over 19 "welcome to, Kain Acadamy! We except all species and do our best to teach them what they need to know about life as what they are alone with teaching them about the human world." he said with a smile "I am the vise principle, Christopher, welcome....." he looked at me intently "oh! Um.. Haruka" I said extending my hand to his "nice to met you. May I ask your species, I can tell where you where to go it is awfully confusing in this huge building." I new his attitude would change when i told him "I'm a mix breed" I whispered. He gave me a sour look and pulled his hand away from mine. "6th floor room 674." he said with a his as he walked away. "dickhead." I thought to myself. Breeding between species had always been thought as a crime and because of it mix-breeds were thought of as trash, i was surprised they even aloud us into the school. I made my way threw the crowd to the elevator, and after what seemed like an hour I got on and pushed the button. The elevator was crowed, I was so glad to hear the ding of the doors as the opened I stepped out, the hallway was empty I was surprised every other floor had been teeming with people. I walked down the hall until I reached room 674, the number on the door was almost faded. I heard a crash coming from the inside I ran threw the door to see two girls fighting. I ran over and pushed them apart, "hey hey calm down you two!" I yelled. One of them was short with thick black hair that reached her shoulders, from the looks of her she had to be a Succubus. Her beauty gave me a sick feeling in my stomach I had a feeling I really wasn't going to like her. She pulled away from me and found a desk and flopped down. "stuck up bitch!" the other mumbled pulling free from my grip "names Brie" she said as she gave me her hand "I'm Hakura but everyone calls me violet." I smiled. "I see why" she said with a giggle, I nodded and looked down to my, violet colored skin. "One of the cons of being part dragon, not only that but because I'm park dark fairy instead of red I turned out violet, I get shit from everyone about not being the right color." I thought to myself. Brie was tall with black hair and light skin.
"what's with the empty room?" I asked as I took a seat next to Brie "you must be a first year?" I nodded "this is the class room for the mix breeds, there are usually only about 7 to 10 of us So they give us a separate class so we don't have to mingle with the pure bloods." she explained "we also room together in the dorms. I usually get put with a newby to teach them how things work." two boys walked into the room one was a dwarf/ fairy the other looked like he was a merman/elf. I looked back to Brie, "which branch are you?" she asked I looked at her puzzled "branch? You know dark or light? Good or evil?" she restated "oh, I'm dark." I replied "me too" she smiled. A few more people walked into the room I payed no attention. "so where is the teacher? The bells about to ring." I questioned "mr. D is always late." she laughed "he is a shadow fairy, and hates the fact that he got stuck teaching mix breeds sometimes he doesn't even show up" right on cue the teacher walked into the room, he stormed over to his desk and flopped down. He was a short man with black eyes and short brown eyes he looked a lot older then he really was "must be a stressful job" I thought aloud. A guy walked into the door a second before the bell rang, he was a giant at at least 6,4 he had black hair that hung down in his eyes and had a snake bite. Brie jumped up and ran over to him, giving him a kiss on the cheek before leading him over to me "hey Violet this is Creeth, Creeth this is Violet." "nice to met you." said Creeth with a smile. "ok students take a seat let's get this show on the road." I moved back a seat to Creeth could sit next to Brie. Unlike the pure bloods we keep the same teacher all day, and by second period I couldn't stay awake anymore I fell asleep on my Geometry book. I woke to someone standing over me. I jumped up to see the Succubus with a marker in her hand, as soon as I turned to the class everyone started laughing "that's what happens if you fall asleep in class!" she said with a laugh I took out my phone and looked at my face I couldn't help but laugh "what the hell...?" I said in-between giggles "is that suppose to be Santa?" i whipped the still damp Marker off my face as The bell rang and everyone got up and left the class, "hey love birds!" mr.D yelled Creeth and Brie turned around "make sure the newbys don't get lost I don't have time to keep up with them." Brie nodded and kept walking. We took 1 flight of stairs to the cafeteria. We scanned out ID's to get in and then again after we finished getting our food. The mix breed table was at the very back of the cafeteria near the garbage. I sat down next to Brie who was intently talking to the Succubus. I gave her a puzzled look. "oh um this is Vexi she is a second year too." she introduced us "nice to met you." She said with a smile "and sorry about your face." she giggled. "maybe she isn't as bad as I thought she would be." I thought to myself "no biggy" I replied. "so what were you guys fighting about earlier" I wondered aloud. I referred asking as soon as I did but they both laughed "she got pissed because I took the seat she wanted." Vexi explained. I sat there dumbfounded "they looked like they were about to kill each other over a seat? This is going to be a fun year" I thought to myself.
