Allison's POV:
I'm sleeping peacefully till my phone buzzes constantly, so I roll over and grab my phone to look at it. Im being paged to the hospital, I groan and look at the clock that reads 2:15 am, this is gonna be a long day. I roll out of bed brush my teeth, hair grab my phone, keys and shoes then hop in my white challenger and head to the hospital. Im a orthopedic doctor and surgeon at Mercedes Hope hospital and im also the Chief of the hospital, we are in Seattle Washington. I pull into the hospital and run to my office, change into my black scrubs and my doctor coat, grab my stethoscope and put my phone in my pocket then run to the ambulance bay. All doctors wear black, interns wear baby blue, nurses in red, cancer doctors green, and residents in navy blue. I get to the ambulance bay and see the whole ortho and trauma team with their interns, this is going to be a big one. The sound of a wailing ambulance takes me from my thoughts and me and 3 others run towards it as they unload a torn up teenager who has broken both legs and a arm just by first looks, who knows what other damage there was. Supposedly there was a huge car crash on the highway and we are gonna get really busy tonight. As the morning rolls around we got about 35 people from that crash which wasn't a problem hence we are the biggest hospital in Seattle. Around 8am I go grab my coffee and stop to talk to one of my ortho nurses who is my best friend since elementary school Kylie.
Al: Good morning Best friend ever (smiles)
Ky: Morning Ali, What time did you get here??
Al: 2:30
Ky: Damn
Al: Yeah, Im heading to my office to nap, come get me if im needed
Ky: ok, will do
Al: see you later babe
Ky: (laughs) bye Ali
I walk away to my office which is on the other side of this wing of the hospital and 3 floors up. Once I get to my office and lock my door, I go lay down on my couch after I took my jacket off and grabbed the blanket. I decided to nap for a few hours or till Kylie comes to get me since only 2 people have keys to my office, me and Kylie. I end up sleeping till 12:30 then sit at my desk and work through this huge pile of paperwork that has been sitting here for 3 days because I couldn't get to it, I was in back to back surgeries the last 3 days. As im finishing up the last pie of paperwork the door to my office opens and im faced with a smiling Kylie.
Al: Hey baby girl what's up?
Ky: We have a incoming in 10, specifically asked for you
Al: Alright, lets go your with me
Ky: Cool
The two of us make our way to the ambulance bay and the wagon pulls in a minuet later and when the doors open im faced with a very stressed out Morgan King and on the stretcher is her longtime girlfriend Kaya Diamond who seems to be in a lot of pain at the moment.
Al: Morg What happened?
Mo: Oh, thank god Allison (Ali smiles) She got injured at her soccer game. She went to score a goal and got tackled into the goal post, her arm, knee and shin smacking the pole extremely hard
Al: Alright sis ima need you to calm down alright, me and Kylie got her ok
Mo: Ok
Al: good, Kylie lets get a move on. I want full body scans, CT and do a concussion test just to be safe then get the films to me asap
Ky: Im on it Ali
Al: Good, thank you
Ky: Your welcome
