He stopped and turned around.
"You can't leave me like this. You just can't. Everything is easier when I'm with you. You make the things that are hard in my life bearable to go through, worth going through. If you go I don't know if I'll be able to go through it alone. And I don't want to find out. I don't know what I'd do without you. Stay. Please. I can't do it on my own." She pleaded in a whisper in hopes she was getting somewhere.
He looked at her. For an instant he remembered why he had fallen so deeply in love with her. But when he blinked it disappeared. He had to search for a new reason to stay. Because what he saw wasn't enough anymore. She wasn't enough."
