The Bad Boy Is Undercover- Full prologue. (Optional. Read for a small back story/ Help on what further chapters may contain about Addison's early life)

Mother lit the candles on the pink frosted cake, making sure to block the wind from the flickering flames.

"Blow them out, Addison." She gestured towards the stool. I stepped up, giggling crazily. With my hands balled into fists by my sides, I filled my cheeks with air and blew out each candle, one by one.

Mother smiled sadly, glancing around the table where no single person sat. I could imagine my brother, a wide, toothy grin set upon his face as he watched me celebrate my tenth birthday. Only he wasn't here.

My father no longer sat on the edge of his seat, smiling eagerly with his thick black rimmed glasses perched on the bridge of his nose.

Mother rubbed my back, soothing circles into my skin. "Happy Birthday, my dear. Everything is going to be okay." She reassured.

Shaking my head, I jumped off my standing position on the wooden stool, running to my room.

Mother and I were lost without my father and brother. What would become of our 2 person family?

Tears brimmed my eyes and spilled down my cheeks as I rocked back and forth, thumb in my mouth and teddy clutched in my other hand.

The win outside fought with the small tree outside, only planted a week earlier. That tree would grow, grow and grow. It would no longer be bent in the wind, it's branches snapped. It would stand strong, casting a large shadow over the Tarmac road on a sunny day.

One day, everything would be okay. One day, everyone would be happy.
One day, my heart would mend, for someone to take their place in the red room. It wouldn't be easy. But it would be possible.

"You can't tell anyone about the past few events. This stays between us, Princess." He raised the cigarette to his full lips, stopping any movement and giving me an incredulous look.

"Are you going to leave now or do I have to carry you home?"

At exactly 1 in the morning, Addison Smith was dragged out of her house to attend an illegal car racing competition that was held every Friday night.

That was where she met Hunter King. He was a bad boy, an undercover racer and the most arrogant boy anyone could meet.

After a couple of weeks, a few stupid, crazy adventures, the good girl would eventually fall for the bad boy, even if she was completely against her feelings for him.
