"Um......" Think I thought to myself Think. I pulled out my phone.
"My mom called me and I didn't answer. Just great." I said looking at my phone. I wasn't sure if he bought it and I was too embarassed to look up. I felt bad for lying. I was afraid I'd turn red soon.
"You should call her back." he told me.
I looked up "No, I left her a note she just probably just hasn't seen it yet that's all." I told him. He nodded quietly.
"JOHNNY I'M BORED!" Lucy's voice startled me I had forgotten she was with us.
Jonathan glared at her responding angrily. "Do you have to be so loud?"
She pouted her lips and innocently said "It's not my fault you didn't hear me the first two times."
He sighed "I'm sorry. What do you want to do now?" His tone was so different gentle when he talked to her it was.....interesting.
"Swings!" Lucy cheered. Then knowing her way back to the park she was off. She was so cute look nothing like Jonathan.
"Are you guys really related?" I asked. Startled by my question he looked at me like I had just asked if A was the first letter in the alphabet.
"Of course we are. Why would you even ask that?!! Are you stupid or something!!?" He yelled at me. "I uh....I'm sorry." I said. My phone started to ring.
"Um...that's my mom I gotta go...bye tell Lucy I said bye I'm sorry." I told him but he just walked away. He looked mad as I watched him disappear not even caring to look back I answered my phone....
