Chapter 2 - Shimla Trip

Just like everyday I started to leave to office from my home. I don't know why does this Monday comes?  people who are lazy like me hate this day. my normal routine is like Monday i wont get interest to work, Tuesday i set my mind a fresh to start a work, Wednesday i work good, Thursday i become lazy and start working less, Friday i wont work much and i wait for Saturday because it will be a holiday. so finally i work only on three days. omg! when i reached office and opened my lapi there were many tickets that were assigned to me. some of them showed as urgent.that means its needed a completion by today.

I started my work it was like forever. uff! what a start.i wanted some break for working continuously.so i went to canteen for a hot coffee. hmmm! it tasted yummy. the creamy thing which floats on it is like wow!suddenly i got a call and it was from my mom

me:yeah mom.

mom: sibani can you please start from the office right away?(in crying tone)

me: why mom? whats the matter and why are you crying?

mom: grandfather.he had an heart attack this morning.granny called me just now 

me: what? how is he now?

mom: still serious...please come soon

me: mom please stop crying. i have to ask my head and take permission you dont worry i will come soon

mom: okay bye

me: bye mom

I was tensed.how could this happen.he was very active.it felt strange.may be the age is showing its side effects.i went to my tech lead and said this.he accepted it and I assured him I will return soon and do the rest of work.i went directly to airport, mom and dad were waiting for me. 

dad: lets go flight will start with in no time

me: yeah dad

we rushed inside and were done with our formalities.we started our journey.by the time we reached there it was dark.we booked a cab and went to granny's house.

My aunt opened the door.from behind..

granny: gudiya...(that's what she calls me as). see what happen? your grandfather is in hospital

me:please don't cry please tell me what happened and how?

aunt:please come inside first

we went inside and kept our luggage.we have one room separately for us as we come here often.i just threw my bag and went near granny.she was still shedding the tears.i tried to console her a lot, but she didn't stop

granny: your grandfather was fine till this morning.suddenly god knows what happened.

dad:who is in hospital now?

aunt: chitraksh is there shan

dad: okay. I will call him

dad called uncle...

mom: what did doctor say?

dad: don't worry mom.dad will be fine and chitraksh said there is no need to come to hospital as only one member can sleep

granny: shantanu why did this happen. he was very active

dad: mom it's fine. I spoke to doctor he said it was not a major one. he will be fine

mom: yeah. please don't cry mom.everything will be fine.tomorrow morning we will go to hospital

granny: vrinda did you guys eat anything.  I'm sorry I didn't even asked. I'm so stupid

me:its fine granny. we will eat together. now dont worry. you heard that granpa is fine right. come lets eat 

granny:no I'm not hungry

me: please eat something

aunt: she didn't eat the whole day. mom please come your son, your daughter-in-law and your grand daughter are here. They came for you. if you also become sick then who will look at father

granny thought for sometime and then nodded her head. we had our dinner. dad slept on sofa. mom and aunt decided to be with granny. I was alone in room. I was tired of all these things and needed a sound sleep. I closed my eyes and didn't knew when i slept..
