chapter 3 - The Hospital

when I woke up next day my parents were already ready to leave to hospital.

me: mom I am going to come too to see grandpa

mom: you be here. someone needs to be in home.

me: no I want to come too

dad: okay let her come. don't argue.

mom: fine. lets go

we all went to hospital.my uncle was waiting for us.he stayed whole night in hospital.oh god! the smell of all these stuff is just like I would throw up anytime. I am a very sensitive girl. my parents never let me do anything anytime. I couldn't take it anymore but I came here to see my grandpa. he was in ICU. that means no one are allowed. "visiting hours are over sir" one of the nurse said.

dad: but we need to see him.we came from far.how can you just tell it.he is my father

nurse: he might be your father in your home.but here he is a patient and its our responsibility to take care of them

uncle: leave them shantanu. don't argue. he is fine. we will see him again when he is shifted to room

dad: but how can they stop to meet me..

aunt: its fine brother we will see him later.

dad: I will go to doctor and find his status at least....

uncle: lets go I will also come

they both went and returned in 5 minutes.

grandma: what did doctor say?

dad: dad is fine mom.he will be shifting to room today evening. they want to keep him under observation till then. if in case something might happen

mom:that's good to hear.we can meet him evening then. I will stay here tonight.

aunt: I will also be

grandma: no you both go home I will stay here

me: I will stay with grandma

mom: no beta. they will allow only one person to stay and mom please I will stay. you take care of yourself.

dad: we will check about it once after he being shifted to room. don't discuss about it now.lets go

me: this place smells horrible 

mom: that is the reason I told you not to come with us but you wont listen.

my head started spinning.  it was like all the earth was rotating in front of my eyes. mom took me to car.we all sat and started to home. we had lunch and all slept. I too went to my room to take a nap. later in the evening I went out to get a fresh walk as I couldn't go to hospital because I was still not feeling good. rest everyone went and assured me that I can meet him directly in home as he will be discharged soon. I was okay with it. I went to garden and sat there for a while. all children were playing happily. I remembered my childhood. all memories flashed at once. I lived my childhood in a princess way. I loved it. my parents never scolded me for anything. I didn't knew the meaning of sadness. I just know one thing. smile. always smile. my family loved me a lot.  everything would come to me without me asking them. there was never a no from them even if I asked on my own.my home is like a big kingdom.my parents say I am a very special girl. though I never know why would they say and what all those mean. I was in deep thoughts, I didn't observe a girl came and sat beside me...she called me many times 

girl: hello...

me: oh hello.. sorry..I was in my own thoughts..

girl: its fine..my name is Adrika. I live near by...

me: oh hi.my name is sibani... I live near by too.

Adrika: I have never seen you here? did you shift here recently?

me: no no. I came here just yesterday. my grandparents live here

Adrika: yeah okay...

me: okay then I have to leave now.its pretty late...

Adrika: sure we can meet tomorrow??... I will come by same time

me:sure bye tc
