Wolf's Rain - alternate ending

Part 1

KIBA

I get up and snarl towards Jaguara. She stole Cheza from me.. from us. Darcia is opposing her; but what I didn't see was that there was a blade through her heart.

Darcia rips it out of her once the life leaves her eyes. I shift into human form and run towards Cheza.

"Cheza!" I scream, bending down and picking her up.

She looks up at me, her ruby red eyes sparkling. "This one is alright, Kiba."
I hold her close to my chest.

"Y-you n-n-need to go to P-para-paradise." I turn and find Darcia vomiting up blood. There's a slight smile in his eyes. Cheza whimpers beside me, feeling the pain from his unawakened wolf. He then crumbles to the floor, lifeless.

I look down at Cheza. "Let's go to paradise."

I run out of the room, and immediately bump into Tsume, Toboe and Hige. "Kiba! You've got Cheza!" Hige exclaims.

I nod, and keep moving forward.

The snow and winds combined is brutal, but we keep pushing forward. Hige is behind me, sulking because Blue has disappeared. Cheza is on my back as we run.

"We'll find her, she's probably with her Pops!" Toboe says, beside me.

A distant whine up ahead catches our attention. I look up and see a dark figure.. a wolf - Blue's wolf - speeding towards us. Hige yips and runs toward her. The crush together, and roll down the snowy mountain.

Blue lick's Hige's snout and turns her head, exposing her neck in submission to him.

They get up, but Blue whines and runs in a different direction. Hige immediately follows after her.

"Hige!" Tsume growls, but also runs after him.

Toboe and I also follow.

Fighting the snow and winds, we push forward. What I wasn't expecting to see was the man who tried to hunt us down; Blue's previous owner, laying unconscious in the snow. With him, is a human couple. The woman, I recognise, is the scientist who experimented on Cheza and followed us once we got her.

The human couple is trying to figure out what's wrong with him. Blue releases a low, but playful, growl. The woman turns around. "Blue, you're back!"

Blue shifts into her human form and runs over to the old man. "How's he doing?" She asks the woman.

"We don't know, he seems fine on the outside ... but we fear the damage may be on the inside." The man says. He grips onto the woman's arm.

"Hubb, we can only have hope." The woman says to the man. So his name is Hubb.

"You're right Cher." He replies. "For now, I think it's best to get him back into the vehicle and keep moving."

I also morph into my human form, holding Cheza in my arms, before giving her to Tsume. The rest of the guys, already having shifted, and I go over to the couple's side and help pick up the old man.

I hear Hubb grunt beside me, and say, "Geez, Quent, what do you eat?"

Once we get Quent into the back of the vehicle, we inform Cher and Hubb of our plan for paradise.

"We're not sure if you'll be able to enter." Tsume says. "But it's better than not trying anything."

Cher grips Hubb's arm and says, "Thank you."

I nod and morph into my wolf again. Cheza stirs in Tsume's arms and points the way against the harsh winds. "That way."

In the distance, I see a mountain and instantly run towards it. I hear the vehicle start, and the pounding of paws against the snow.

Paradise, we're coming.

Just making sure everyone knows the correct Japanese pronunciation of their names:

Cher - Sheh-roo シェール

Hubb - Hah-boo ハブ

Kiba - Key-bah きば

Tsume - Tsu-meh つめ

Toboe - Toe-boh-eh とぼえ

Hige - He-ge ひげ

Blue - Boo-roo ぶる

Cheza - Che-zah チェザ

Darcia - Daaru-shi-ah ダールシア

Jaguara - Ja-gyu-ara じゃぐゅあら

Disclaimer: some of the Japanese spelling may be wrong - as in whether it's Katakana or Hiragana. I wasn't sure of the origin of some of the names, so depending on which people, I did the different alphabet.
