The past two weeks have gone by quickly, just reg shit. School, practice, homework, games, and Carson. Well Carson's only has been bothering me for a week ever since he suddenly got with Arden. It all happened so quickly and weirdly since he rejected her not too long ago. I think that's what confused me the most when he said he liked Arden because he you know, he rejected her. Now being the semi smart person I am, if you was to reject someone wouldn't that just mean you wouldn't want to be with them. Well, I guess Carson had a change of heart. They're practically made for each other as I said before, the queen bee bitch, and the bad boy. They're the basic poster children for stereotypical high school relationships.
"Yo! Kitty," A voice yells down the hall for me. I close my locker to look at Carson. The only person who calls me kitty.
"Yes, Carson," I sigh as he finally makes his way in front of me and I don't miss the chance to catch the smell of weed on him. "Jeez, what did you do? Smoke a whole yard?" I dig in my bag for my bottle of perfume. Carson shouldn't mind walking around smelling like a flower than 10 pounds of weed which would get him in trouble.
"It was just two dimes, it's not—hey! What are you doing?" Carson groans as I start spraying the perfume on the uniform. Of course, us being us we're causing a scene and people are looking.
"Chill out, I'm saving your ass from suspension—or worse; expulsion," I whisper to him using my serious eyes. Ha, serious eyes, they really work if you do it right.
"Wouldn't be first time either of those things happened," Carson expresses and that statement is very much true. I spent 4 years not going to same school as him since he got expelled or suspended so many times. "Want to get out of here?"
"To go where? We have school, idiot!" Sometimes I swear this boy is so stupid, like very stupid. We have school and he comes in higher than the World Trade Center in New York City, now he's trying to skip and have me tag along.
"Please, Kitty," Carson begs using his puppy dog eyes that I've always been a sucker for and they've gotten me into some messed up things. Once, he begged me to break up with his girlfriend in like 8th grade because he didn't want to see her cry. This was clearly back when he had a small heart and actually cared about other people's feelings besides his own (not including his extremely close family members and friends) so I ended up being the barer of bad news. May I add she was an ugly crier. But that also when the terrible rumor about Carson and I started, the rumor that we were secretly dating. For all I know, we might still be secretly dating to them, and it's been 4 years. Who has time to secretly date for fours years? Obviously not Carson and me.
"Alright fine, but we have to get you back here and sober for your game. Hopefully no one tells coach you weren't here or you can't play," I mean not that my dad wouldn't care, he'd still play him. Only because Carson is a very annoying bench warmer and he's way more antsy on the sidelines than on the court.
"Of course, now let's go," Carson grabs my hand and we walk right out of the front entrance of school. Shitty security if you ask me. We head over to his BMW which looks to have been newly washed. I'd do anything for a new car, I mean not anything but some things. My brother and I both have these old Nissans that are the same age us and sometimes they're just such flops. Mine wouldn't even start this morning so I had to ride with Brandon and Leanne. Worst car ride ever, I mean honestly. All they do is blow kisses to each other when Brandon is driving and share quick pecks at stop lights. I hate it.
"Hey, can you believe we're practically winter and it's been 65 degrees everyday so far," Carson expresses getting into the drivers seat.
"One, yeah I know, it's crazy and two; you're not driving," He's under the influence and his decision are practically impaired due to the fact the he smoked his body weight.
