She walked the streets of Konoha enjoying the moonlight shining down on the village she grew up in.
The city which held her most favorite memories tucked within village corners, stores and food shops.Memories of her favorite people.
But it also held some of the most horrible moments in her life.
Like the moment he left her.
Thank you. The raven haired boy had said to her, before he knocked her unconscious and left her, their team and the village she loved so much.
Left her and her friends to worry until they found him again. Only to find he wasn't the same person she once loved.
But Naruto had redeemed him and tonight he was back.
The raven haired boy she loved so much was back.
And he apologized for all the trouble he put her through.
She had cried happy tears, her love for him had always had that effect on her.
But now he was off again, on a mission to find himself. To see how the world truly works, through kind eyes and a good heart.
She was sad to see him go but she understood too well. So she made her way home.
She stopped in front of her home and took out her keys--but found her door already unlocked.
"I must've been so distracted by the thought of seeing Sasuke-kun that I forgot to lock my door" she said to herself.
She walked in and closed the door behind her, remembering to lock it tight.
She made her way to her room and saw a dark shadow sitting on her bed.
She quickly turned on the lights and stood in battle position. Only to hear a familiar voice say: "Sakura."
The raven haired boy stood up from her bed.
"It's just me." Sasuke said.
"W-what are you doing here, Sasuke-kun?" she said. She felt a mixture of confusion and happiness.
"I needed to see you one last time before I go" he said walking towards her.
Butterflies stirred in her stomach as he stopped right in front of her. Only inches apart.
"Because knowing me, it might be a while." he smirked.
