Sasuke lowered his head and lightly rested his forehead onto hers. His raven hair brushing against her cheeks.
His hair is so soft. She thought to herself.
She closed her eyes and caught her breath as he slowly brought his hand up to rest on the right side of her face.
"Please, Sakura" he said, wiping away her tears.
She melted at his touch. The word please sent shivers down her spine. She had never heard him beg before.
"Don't waste anymore tears on me, Sakura." he said with a pained look in his eyes.
"There was never a need to cry for me" she pulled back then and looked directly into his eyes.
"Because I've always been yours" he whispered and lifted his gaze up to look back at her.
"From the moment we met, Sakura. I was yours and you seemed to know it" he smiled lightly at her.
"I just wish I'd known it then, too."
"Its not your fault, Sasuke-kun" she whispered back to him.
"But it is" he said. "You were always there for me. Even Naruto and Kakashi. You were there to show me that there was more to life than revenge..but I didn't listen."
He took her hand in his and slowly lead her to her own bed. She sat down and he sat there next to her, hands still entwined.
His hand was rough and scarred but she didn't mind. She loved every part of him.
"Sasuke-kun, you don't have to--what I mean is, I know everything you're trying to say" she said to him.
He gently laid his head onto her shoulder, and she laid her head onto his.
"I know you do," he said to her. "But I want you to hear me explain. Because I owe you that."
She placed a gentle kiss upon his head.
"Because you deserve much better than me, Sakura" he said.
She caught her breath, awaiting his next words.
"But the truth is, I'm so happy that you've chosen me."

I'm sorry, but we all know its canon! I had to write some love dovey crap because, come on! Who wouldn't like spending time with the sweet side of Sasuke?
