Percy's POV
Just to let you know I don't own any of these characters and I owe it all to Rick Riordan.
Percy saw a glimpse of curly blonde hair as he opened his sea green eyes and he knew that hair could only belong to one of his best friends Annabeth Chase. As his eyes came into focus he saw her stormy grey eyes staring into his as she said "how you feeling Percy? That rock must of hit ya real hard if you only just woke up!"
"Yeah" Percy lied as he realised he had been staring at her hair for at least 5 minutes.
They made their way out of the infirmary and saw their friends grover (the saytr) and Thalia Grace (daughter of Zeus) running towards them at great ,gaining, speed. Percy had to put grover to a stop as he was clearly incapable of stopping himself.
"Oh my Gods Percy you didn't tell us you were coming back to camp this early!" Grover said with such excitement.
In reply Annabeth said " well I was searching New York to say hi or something and I saw some Cannibal giants taking a hit at him with some large rocks so I got rid of them then brought him to camp as I thought he would be safest here."
" Wow Annabeth thanks for that I didn't even realise, your the best" he said as he hugged her. She blushed dramatically and rushed off to the bathroom signalling Thalia to come with her. "What was that about?" Percy asked curiously
"Well from previous scenarios I'd say Annabeth likes you!" Grover replied whilst grinning devilishly.
Percy blushed
" me no she can't like me, I'll be back in a bit G-man"
And with that he was gone. He headed off to the beach to clear his mind when he saw a female figure waking towards him.
He soon realised that this was Aphrodite taking the look of Annabeth (as she always does when talking to someone who likes her). She walked until we were face to face then spoke.
"Your destiny in love: you seek the one who is most close to you, she is the one you least expect, she won't come easily but soon you'll find that behind her intelligence and knowledge she is a real blonde beauty."
She said this with no greeting or anything and just walked off. It was like talking with the fricken oracle.
She talked about my destiny with love. So the girl was really smart but pretty at the same time. She was blonde. She was a friend of mine and wouldn't come easily. Oh gods I've figured it out, it's.....Annabeth!
That's why she had blushed when laid her continents, that's why she'd saved me. She liked me! Wow Grover was right and I was gonna make the first move.
I walked past the Athena cabin then walked back and saw Annabeth looking at a photo of me and her with our arms round each other the first time we won capture the flag. She was smiling but looking troubled. I took a deep breath and knocked. She opened the door and her face lightened up. I was welcomed into her cabin but it was a little busy so I suggested my cabin instead.
When we got there I sat down on one of the three comfy arm chairs and invited her to sit in the one opposite. She took the offer, and looked at me then I realised it was my idea so I spoke.
"Annabeth, you have been my best friend for so long now and I know that we both want to be more than that after a long talk with a certain godess."
" Gods Percy you are so right but how did you know I liked you back?"
He leaned forward and kissed her lips then suggested "lucky guess?" Then he leaned in for a second time and she began to kiss him back.
They must have been kissing for a hell of a long time because Chiron announced dinner.
