I entered my first class room and I immediately regretted it. People were already staring at me. I mean it wasn't bad or anything but I just can't take when people stare hard at me for longer than a few seconds.
''What A Cutie.'' a blonde girl said.
''Hell Yeah.'' another girl giggled while biting her lip.
I smiled at the compliments and walked over to my new teacher. Yesterday we had to meet up with her and tell her about the whole undercover thing and she made sure that she wouldn't blow my cover even If things started to get out of hand. I know that It's not gonna be easy to have a cop investigating your whole entire classmates but that's not really what this is , I'm only paying attention to Justin Caylen & Nash Grier , that's my assignment and I hope that It starts and ends quickly so I can have my vacation
''Devyn , you can sit wherever you want.'' the teacher told me. I scanned the whole entire class room and since the bell hasn't rung yet , most people haven't came in yet so I just picked a random seat and whoever It belongs to can square up If they want it. I may be 22 years old but that doesn't mean I'm mature , I'm still childish as hell which is why I don't understand why I'm a cop.
''Come in and sit down.'' the teacher told the students who were standing by the door. I smiled when I saw that ''Justin'' kid. They made sure that I had all classes with him just because I needed him to lead me to Nash and maybe , hopefully I'll crack this case open sooner than I think. For some reason we kept making eye contact and every since we saw each other yesterday..we always smiled at each other and we haven't even talked to each other yet but I feel like he's attracted to me.
He started walking towards me and of course I acted cool , calm , and collected. I leaned back in my chair trying to imitate what a teenage guy might look like and I guess I'm pulling it off pretty well because girls and even guys were staring at me with those lovey dovey eyes.
''what's up man?'' a guy sat behind me. I turned around and looked at him.
''SAM.'' I yelled.
''KIA-'' I quickly covered his mouth and of course people started staring , including that Justin kid.
''what are you doing here?'' he whispered.
''undercover.'' I whispered back while looking forward.
''oh okay well why?''
''you know that's confidential.'' I told him.
''can I tell my friends.''
''NO.''
Sam is my cousin and I forgot that he went to this school , let alone be in the 12th grade. I thought he would have dropped out by now but that's not important , I just have to make sure that he does not blow my cover because If this case gets ruined because of me then I'm definitely gonna be fired.
''Do you guys know each other ?'' the curly haired boy stared at me and sam.
''we use to live in the same neighborhood.'' Sam lied. I faked a smile and agreed with him as I started tapping my pencil on my desk out of straight nervousness. I still don't think I can trust Sam with this secret.
