CHAPTER 11: The Date!!!

And I have risen from the dead! After almost 3 months I am back! I apologize greatly for my absence and beg your forgiveness!!! On the bright side new chapter! And its summer so I can update at least once a week for the most part! Yay!!!

Now let the chapter commence!

AUTHORS POV:
Lucy and Laxus walk out of the guild hall and down the street hand in hand.
"Hay Laxus where are we going anyway?" Lucy says pulling Laxus to the side.
"Hmm not sure, where do you want to go Blondie?" Laxus says looking into Lucy's eyes.
"Um how about we go to the park and get ice cream and then walk around?" Lucy says happily, smiling more when she says ice cream.
"If that's what you want Blondie than that sounds great. Then after the park we can go back into town and go to a restaurant for lunch." Laxus says, smiling at Lucy and smiling even more when she blushes. Lucy agrees and they walk off towards the park.

(TIME SKIP: to the park)

LUCY'S POV:
We get to the park and head over to the ice cream stand, I get strawberry and Laxus gets chocolate and of course Laxus pays for it despite my protests. Though I have to admit that's its nice not having to pay, since I always had to pay with Natsu and them and they eat a lot!
As we walk through the park we talk about all the things that have happened since I left, like the jobs that the Rajinshuu went on, what all of my true friends had been doing, I tell him all about my training and how powerful I am now. Laxus also tells me about how Master punished all the guild members who were mean to me, especially team Natsu, apparently they weren't aloud to go on any jobs for almost a year and Erza's S-class status was revoked. I started laughing when he said this, and then we were both laughing about it for like ten minutes, and I make a mental note to thank Master for doing that. Since we were laughing so hard we sit down on a bench and somehow ended up kissing for several minutes, before we got up and headed back into town.
We started window shopping and just generally walking around and chatting, it was really fun. I even heard a few people saying that we looked really cute together, which of course made me blush and Laxus laugh, so I being me stomped on his foot which made him wince and several other people laugh, me included.
Then I saw one of those photo booth things so I dragged Laxus over and we took three photos, one of me sitting on Laxus's lap, one of us making stupid faces, and one of us kissing, we got two sets of them and the continued walking down the street until we spotted a cafe and went in for lunch.

LAXUS'S POV:
I lead Blondie into the cafe and we sat down at a table near the window, the waiter came and we gave our orders, before going back to talking and catching up.
The food comes and we eat and I keep trying to make her laugh, since I find that I really hate it when she's sad, and even though she is doing a very good job at hiding it I can tell that seeing those four idiots in team Natsu has really depressed her, which is why I asked her to on a date. So that I could get her away from them, and now I just have to make her happy enough that she will forget all about those ungrateful idiots.
"So Blondie are you having fun?" I ask as she finishes eating.
"Yes Laxus I am this was great! Even if you did only ask so that you could get me away from team Natsu and their screaming." Lucy says shocking me that she realized why I asked her out and making me blush.
"Don't say it like that's the only reason I asked you on this date! I was going to take you out, I was just going to plan it more beforehand." I say kind of loudly, as we get up to leave causing a few people to looks at us, and making Lucy laugh.
"Well then I guess I will have to thank team 'idiot' for making you move faster." Lucy says laughing as we walk down the street.
"Hmp!" Is my only response, that and pouting slightly causing her to giggle.
We continue walking when she suddenly stops and stares at a shop window before dropping my hand and yelling at me to stay where I am as she runs into the shop. So I turn and look for a bench to sit on and wait for her to come back, I find one across the street on a bridge that goes over a small stream.
She comes out ten minutes later with a small bag.
"Hey Blondie why'd you run off so suddenly?" I say as she sits down beside me.
"Well Laxus I saw something, that I want to get for you so here open it." She says blushing a bit as she hands me the bag.
I open it, and inside is a small locket that looks like a globe with a star pendant on the side, inside the locket was the picture of us kissing in the photo booth. I look up at her and she that she has a matching locket.
"I got them so that If we're ever separated again we will always have part of each other with us and the globe and the star pendant will remind us that no mater where we are in the world we are both looking at the same stars, so we are never alone." Lucy says quietly blushing a lot.
I don't think I just stand up and kiss her after a few seconds she kisses back and we just stay there, lost in our own little world for what feels like hours, but is really only a few seconds, and I can truly say that it was probably that best moment of my life so far and I really didn't want it to end.
Eventually we separated and Lucy looked at me smiling a smile that made my heart stutter then she spoke...
"I think that I can officially say that I am the luckiest girl in the world and that I love you Laxus Dreyar." And my heart stops.
"And I am the luckiest man alive. I love you Lucy Heartfilia." I some how manage to say without stuttering, and for the second time today I kiss her and wish that the moment would never end.

What the locket looks like just imagine the
bird is a star.
