CHAPTER 12- S-class Exams Part I

AUTHORS POV:
It has been two months since Lucy returned to Fairy Tail.
Her and Laxus had gone on a few more dates and were very happy with each other.
Lucy had officially joined the Rajinshuu and they had gone on a few missions together, one of which ended with Lucy, Laxus and Freed's hands magically glued together for the rest of the day. (They took a break from missions after that.)
Now that brings us to Lucy sitting on Laxus's lap, talking to Evergreen, waiting for Master Makarov to make so sort of special announcement.

LUCY'S POV:
"So Evergreen do you like anyone?" I say once I finally stop laughing at the joke Bixlow had made.
"Lucy how many times do I have to tell you to just call me Ever! And no I don't like anyone!" Ever say blushing a bit from my random question, making me laugh again.
"Yeah, yeah sorry Ever." I say between laughs. Making Ever pout and the boys snicker.
'Dam gramps sure is taking forever, come to think about it I wonder what this announcement is about?' I think, finally managing to stop laughing.
"Hey Laxus do you know what gramps wants to tell us?" I say turning to look at him.
"Yes I do but I'm not going to tell you, you're just going to have to wait like everyone else." Laxus says smirking at me when I pout.
"Your mean Laxus!" I say turning away from my smirking boyfriend, still pouting.
"Ah don't worry Blondie, gramps will be down any minute. He is probably just dealing with the paperwork from team "idiots" last mission." Laxus whispers in my ear, making me shiver slightly and start giggling at the team "idiot" comment.

Suddenly gramps appears on the balcony and yells at everyone to shut up.
But this is fairy tail so It takes several minutes and gramps turning into a giant for everyone to shut up.
"Alright now that everyone is quiet, I'll get to what I wanted to say, which is that the S-class promotion exams is going to start in one week so I shall announce the participants.
They are: Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet, Lisanna Strauss 'cough' team 'cough' "idiot" 'cough',
Juvia Lockstar, Gageel Redfox, Levy Mcgarden, Wendy Marvel, Elfman Strauss, Evergreen, Freed, Bixlow and Lucy Heartfilia. Will be this years participants, and of course Laxus, Mira and Gildarts will be there as examiners, the exams will also be done solo instead of with a partner. Meet In one week at the Magnolia port. I wish you all luck!" Gramps yells as he turns around and goes back to his office, 'probably to finish the paperwork that team "idiot" gave him' I think mentally giggling at it.
"Well Blondie you think your ready for this?" Laxus says turning me towards him.
"Hah of course I'm ready! Do you think your ready Sparky? Cause if we meet in the exams I'm going to kick your ass!" I say teasingly, grinning at his surprised look.
"Is that a challenge Blondie?" He growls slightly, making me giggle.
"Maybe Sparky, maybe it is. I guess you'll have to wait and see just like everyone else"
I whispered as I slid out of his arms and smirked at the face he made when I used his words from earlier. I skipped out of the guild with an annoyed Laxus yelling after me.
'I guess I'll train a bit for this week, I can't wait for the exams to start! This is going to be fun!' I think smirking as I walk into the forest and get ready to summon old Stache Face.
