Her hips sway as she walks and I blame her for the seductive way she walks. "Stop staring at my ass. It's not gentlemanly," she breaks the silence, her tone sassy.
"Not your ass. I was watching your hips," I tease her. She stops walking and turns her head to face me.
"And what is between my hips?" She asks defiantly, putting a hand on her hip.
"Your gorgeous ass," I wink. She huffs in response and turns away to keep walking, attempting and failing to cover her blush with her hair.
"Stay out here," she orders me, slowly opening a door and slipping in before I could look inside. I groan and for some reason comply to her wish. I run a hand through my blond hair, still amazed that she was here and even more astounded that she is being so cooperative.
Curiosity gets the best of me after waiting for at least 10 minutes and I put my ear to the door, only to be greeted with silence.
My stomach churns, the possibility of her doing something stupid becoming very realistic. I shove the door open, being greeted with nobody as I had sadly expected. I growled in outrage and ran to her open window. The bushes below are smashed awkwardly and I know for sure that she ran away.
I slide out the window, landing two stories down. My feet hit first as I land but my supernatural body takes the hit like it was nothing.
I growl again, my mind solely set on finding my defiant mate and dragging her home if it's the last thing I do.
My anger overpowers all my other emotions and I shift on the spot, shredding my clothes. I could care less about that as I start sprinting into the forest, following her mixed scent.
<Alpha> One of my pack mate calls to me though the mind link. <We found her. Now what?>
<Howl. I'll find you from that.> I order, relief washing through me that she wouldn't be gone for another 2 years while I searched for her.
<There is one more thing Alpha.>
<Tell me when I get there.>
<I think you should know now Alpha. You might need the warning.>
I growl I'm annoyance. <What? What could possibly be that important that I would need time before getting to Sam?>
<On her back. There are two little girls. I think they're yours.> I skid to a stop, my mind whirling.
She was pregnant?
