On the next day, Seung Hye and her friends woke up early morning to eat breakfast at a cafe, located not too far from their rented beach house. She carefully sip on her hot mocha latte not wanting to burn her tongue. When they we're done, they head back to the beach house and checked out after they had packed all their belongings.

Thanks to Nari and her friends, her mind was at ease a little. The short getaway at the beach did help her to clear her mind and rest a little.

[A few months later]

Everything was normal at the university the past few days but today the students were quite loquacious. Seung Hye, deep in her thoughts, didn't notice that she had bumped into someone. When she look up, it was none other than her childhood friend, Nari.

It was nice knowing that she had her best friend by her side for support when she needed help. She was so thankful to Nari for always trying to cheer her up and have a good time together.

Now, she is in her senior year and also going to graduate by the end of the year. Nari on the other hand is in her second year of master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Although she feels sad that she isn't going to see Nari as often after she graduate, she is looking forward to get a job of her dream.

Nari was happy to see Seung Hye. She didn't even bother to nag at Seung Hye when she accidentally bump into her. She wanted to tell her a great news, that there was a new transfer student from Canada in her course and he was super hot looking.

Seung Hye didn't want to hear anything about the guy because her feelings remain the same for her old love.A flashback replayed in her mind, Chanyeol nervously confessed his feelings to her with a hundred red roses. She can see the cold sweat flowing down on the side of his temple. She quietly chuckled at the thought of him being all nervous when he confessed to her, afraid that he'd be rejected by the person he fell in love with.

Back to reality, Nari pulled her arm and walk along the the hallway when they saw the new guy came down from the stairs. To Seung Hye surprise, the silhouette seems familiar to her. She stare at the ground where he stood and then it hit her, it was the same pair of white sneaker she saw at the beach.

She looked up. It was the guy she saw from the beach, the one that gave her hat to her. She did have a little interest in him as he had this mysterious aura around him but she just shrugs the feeling off. Nari and her went to their respective class, back to studying like a normal day.

After morning class ended, Seung Hye went to the library to do her assignments. As she enter the building, she went to the front desk and greet her library friend, Park Areum who was on duty. She asked if the book she was looking for was available and Areum nodded as she told her the designated area of the bookshelves she had to go to find the book.

She then thanked her and went to have a look at the bookshelves for the book she needed for her assignments. After a few rounds, she finally saw the book at the top section of the shelf. Being the gentleman herself, she took the stools at the side of the bookshelf and stand on it as she took the book.

On the spur of the moment, the memories of Chanyeol and her came flashing through her state of mind. She took the book out of its place from the shelf when suddenly Chanyeol secretly came out of nowhere and hug her from behind. Her surprised face made him chuckled as he gave her left cheek a peck.

Tears blurred her line of vision as she tries to get down, alas she missed a step and stumble. Miraculously, a pair of arms had caught her. While shutting her eyes and tears stream down her cheeks, she heard a husky voice of a guy. " Are you alright? "

She open her eyes. A pair of dark brown eyes was looking at her. It was him, the new guy that she saw this morning. He was looking at her awkwardly. Then, she finally realized that she was too close to him and she back away gently. She thanked him for catching her from the fall.

He looks at her and she looks back. He came closer, curiosity in his eyes. His sudden closeness made her a little uncomfortable when suddenly he speak up. " You seem familiar. Have we meet before? " After a few seconds, everything clicks. " Aren't you the girl I saw back at the beach? The one that I gave the hat back. "

She smiles and said it was her. She look at her wristwatch and she frowns a little. " I'm sorry but I need to excuse myself. I need to go home." He nod his head as she bow and thanked him again before walking pass him. He just stare at her leaving the library until it she was unnoticeable.
