Demi POV-
"WHOA, WHAT THE HELL," I screamed as I got a text message from Nikki about some dude. I hurried to text back my reply before class started.
Tthat's so kool, im happy for you. we deff have to meet up and you need to tell me the details.OMG<3'
As I slipped my phone in my backpack I felt someone standing behind me and had their hand on my back. I turned around.
"May I help you?" I asked the stupid fimiliar image in front of me.
"Is that a way to talk to your showcase partner?" Allan asked me?
"I beg your pardon?" I asked confused.
"Why don't we be partners for this showcase," I just stared at the floor "Come on, you and me both know that I sing good and you sing good. So why not be partners and rock out the show?"
He does have a good point, but I already promised Damien I would sing with him. But one time wouldn't hurt him, right?
"Right." Allan said with a smirk.
Did I say that out loud? Opps....
"Sorry, I can't. I already have group members. I'm not going to let an arrogant jerk come between my performance." I said with determination.
Right then the teacher came in and started to tell us all about the showcase and what is going to happen. I zoned out thinking about what will Damien think if I just left him to find someone else. I'm sure he will understand.
"Okay now I think it was Demi, Damien and Parker who won the spot for the showcase." She told the class. Then she looked at us, or more like at me. "Do you guys have anything planned?"
I shook my head.
"Well you guys need to have something planned quickly, or then you won't be able to perform." She reminded us.
We nodded in agreement with her. I mean I have plenty of ideas but they aren't good enough. If I'm performing in this showcase I have to make a good first impression. I want a strong performance, not a little weak one. Class was finished and I had a free period. I decided to take this time to go to the auditorium just to get some ideas. I walked in this empty huge room and stepped on stage. The first thing that caught my eye was the piano. One of my favorite instruments. I sat down and started pressing down on some of the keys. Before I knew it I started playing one of my favorite songs "The A Team" By Ed Sheeran.

White lips, pale face
Breathing in snowflakes
Burnt lungs, sour taste
Light's gone, day's end
Struggling to pay rent
Long nights, strange men
And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream Been this way since 18
