Chapter 3

Celestia

I walked out the door to see stars appearing one by one .

I looked for Luna couldn't see her I could only see a glow of blue through a cloud .

" Ahh Luna " I heard

I knew that voice

" LUNA" I called flying towards his voice.

I was pulled back by a strong force " you can't go to her!" Yelled a pony " why " I said as my feet touched the ground " it's part of the prophecy, she'll be fine " the pony assured me .

Luna

" Luna " I heard sis

I was going to call back but I found my mouth covered .

" not a word my daughter" his eagle hand moved from my mouth

" you killed mother !" I spat

" no I just put her , lets say a long sleep ,

Luna so young but so wise

even the night sky is no wiser than I

Then there is the wise one who rules the night forever more.

He told

" father your riddles are quite confusing , why aren't you a pony?" I asked

" I ... Have no clue

But you may do

Let time take its tall

And we'll see ." He then threw a glowing ball at me .

I was shocked I didn't know what to do I tried using my horn..... Nothing but the moon shone very bright and the ball crumbled .

" somebody got there powers , and there mark

Goodbye my daughter

It mayn't be for long

But it won't be for awhile there young one "

He vanished

I sat back on the cloud and wondered

' what may my father be ?"

I flew back down to the ground to see cleo

" who was the man with -" I was cut off

" discord " she said bluntly

Celestia

I saw Luna fly down and she had a mark on her sides near her tail . It was of a crescent moon with a bit of night sky around it.

" Luna " I went to hug her she marched back.

" sis what is it ?" I asked

" father told me many riddles , also mother is in a long sleep " she walked away

I realised it had been night for a long time .

I missed the sun beating on my fur keeping me warm I thought about the sun and it began to rise .

" she's our hero ! " I saw Luna in the corner of my eye . She looked upset I tried to go after her but the ponies crowded me.
