STEPHANIE'S POV

Its been ten days since Sam went missing. I could hardly get to work without worrying about and missing her. Tony's worried about her too, in his own weird way. Thor has been looking haggard, and hasn't stopped looking for her. Brayden and Artemis were really worried too. I have taken them to live with me until Sam could be found. I think Artemis doesn't really understand what's going on.

There have been so many television interviews, I was starting to get sick of TV. How did the press even know she was missing? Oh, silly me, I forgot; they follow Stark everywhere. I don't like it, even though it kind of helps us find Sam. I mean, she could be anywhere! I just hope that wherever she is, she's safe.

SAM'S POV

Argh, I can't seem to escape! Every time I try, Luke-I mean Loki-pops up and takes me back to my floor. Yes, floor. I get a whole floor to myself, but the stairs to the other floors are locked, and I'm on the fourth and final floor.

He comes in everyday around noon to bring me food and to try to talk to me. I hate him. He used to be my friend and then he betrayed me like this. I want to be away from him and home with my family.

Today, I was lying down on the bed and staring at the ceiling thinking of ways to escape when he appeared out of nowhere and scared the crap out of me.

I sat up quickly and hit my head on the wall. "Ow! Holy freaking crab muffins! Stop doing that! Or better yet, go jump off a cliff and DIE. That would be great."

He sighed, "Why do you hate me so much?"

I laughed bitterly. "Are you seriously asking me that? You freaking kidnapped me! Do I need any other reason?"

"I only did it so you wouldn't go to Asgard and I would still be able to see you," he said.

I breathed out frustratedly. "You know, you have this thing called a voice that people use to ask for stuff. You should probably have used it. Wait a minute. How did you know about Asgard? I only told Stephanie and Tony about that."

"I may or may not have been watching you... Everyday... All the time. Ow! Did you just slap me?"

I grinned. "I may or may not have slapped you. So you're also a stalker? Let's add that to the list of reasons why I hate you, shall we?" I lay back down on the bed and turned my back to him. "Just go away. I don't want to talk to you anymore, unless you're going to let me go."

I didn't even see him leave. Eventually, I fell fast asleep.

LOKI'S POV

I walked down to the second floor, and punched the wall. A huge hole appeared. I have to work on that... Not hitting anything when I'm angry.

I rubbed my face where Sam slapped me and leaned against the other wall. She can really hit hard. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. Before, she liked me as a friend, but now, she hates me with a passion. I can't let her go now, though. She might let Thor know where I am, and I can't have that.

I went into my room on the second floor and shut the door. I waited for the Chitauri to contact me, which they do every week at 2 o' clock on Thursdays. How ironic that they are planning to attack Thor's world on his day.

I wasn't disappointed. Grorsack, the leader of the Chitauri, materialized in my room. "Is everything prepared for our attack, Loki? And I assume that you have found a pathetic human maid to be your "queen" for when you rule this world?"

I bristled at the term "pathetic." "Yes, Grorsack, it is almost ready. I still have not located the Tesseract, so that will take a little more time. And I have found a woman worthy to be my queen. But she is not "pathetic." She is the only human I have found that is not pathetic. In fact, she is upstairs, sleeping."

Grorsack snorted, "All humans are pathetic compared to the Chitauri. Do not forget, we rule over you. You may rule this world, but WE are the ones in charge. Forget this, and the consequences shall be great." With that, he disappeared in a cloud of smoke. He always was one for dramatic exits.

I looked in on Sam and saw her sleeping on the bed. I walked over to her and sat on the edge of the bed. She looked so beautiful and peaceful. I stroked her face gently, not wanting to wake her. Someday, her hate for me will turn to love. Probably not anytime soon, but someday. I kissed her soft, beautiful lips before I went out of her room.

THOR'S POV

I cannot sleep. I cannot eat. I cannot do anything until Sam is home safe and sound. I have searched everywhere in this new city of York. I have searched almost everywhere in the city of Manhattan. Although, now that I think about it, I have not searched in her neighbor Luke's dwelling area.

I go to her apartment building and to her floor. I remember Lady Stephanie telling me that she saw Sam leaving with this Luke, so I knock on the door prepared to ask him if he had seen Sam.

When I saw who opened the door, my jaw dropped. "Loki?"

So, Thor has found Loki. What shall happen next?
