Chapter 12- Dark room

Help guys! Really sorry for the late update.. Exams are on my head.. And ik I left the previous chapter in suspense so here it's is!
MaNan were looking into each other's eyes when the lights went off
Nandini started screaming, she was so scared as it was completely dark
Leaving no option, she hugged Manik tight
Manik was shocked as well as surprised
Nandini hugged him tight and his eyes were wide open
Manik slowly places his hands on her back and he hugged her too
They both were standing on the stage hugging each other when they heard some noise
Cabir came there with a torch and he saw MaNan Hugging each other
Cabir started coughing and MaNan broke the hug
Nandini looked down blushing while Manik was thinking of an excuse
Cabir-umm.. I think main wrong time par aa Gaya..
Manik- Cabir shut up this is not the time to talk about this!
Cabir- main toh bas help karne aaya tha yaar.. The lights went off and you guys were here so I thought to help you'll..
Manik- acha toh jiske liye aaya hai woh kar na
Cabir- haa Ruk I'll check and come
Cabir went outside the Audi to check what was wrong
Manik looked at Nandini and he looked at her
Nandini was still holding Manik's hand and Manik looked at their hands
He saw Nandini was scared and he went close to her and cupped her face
Manik- Nandini are you okay? He asked cupping her face
Nandini just nodded
Soon the lights came and Cabir came in
Nandini left Manik's hand and thankfully Cabir didn't see it this time
Cabir- woh lights as gayi
Manik- we noticed! He said
Cabir- guys I think you'll should go now start the work from tomorrow
Manik- ya right lets go
Manik and Nandini went down the stage and they all left for their rooms
In the lift
Manik- Nandini come we'll drop you
Nandini- no it's fine I'll go! She said in a low voice
Cabir -'array nahi nahi ! Nandini Tum akele ladki itni raat ko akele kaise jaogi
Nandini- Cabir shut up we're in college not on the street
Manik- okay okay guys end of discussion Nandini we're dropping you! Okay?
Nandini- okay!
The lift door opened and Nandini went out followed by Manik. An idea struck cabir's mind
Cabir- guyss!!! Manik and Nandini looked at him
Cabir- I have to go!
Manik - go where?
Cabir - ummm....woh kya hai na mujhe Sona hai Kyuki kal jaldi uthna hai na that's why okay now bye
Cabir said everything in one shot and he ran into the lift and went up
Manik looked at Nandini and both made a weird look
They were walking upto Nandini's room
Manik- so kal subhe we have to finish a lot of work
Nandini- ya today toh we didn't... Nandini recalled what happened in the Audi and she bit her lower lip
Manik looked at her and both were blushing
Nandini- umm.. Kal subhe we'll meet at 7 okay?
Manik- ya okay!
Nandini opened her room door with a spare key
Nandini- so.. Bye
Manik- bye good night
Nandini- good night! She smiled and closed the door
Manik went back to his room
Both went to sleep thinking about each other
The next morning
Manik and Nandini were busy decorating the Audi
Nandini was standing on the stool sticking a chart on the wall while Manik was making charts
Nandini- Manik
Manik- hmm.
Nandini- Manik just stick this na mera haath nahi pohoch raha hai
Manik got up and went to her
Manik- haha shortie!
Nandini- what ! What did you jut call me
Nandini was about to hit him but her leg slipped and she was about to fall when Manik caught her at the right time
They once again had an eyelock which was once again broken by cabir's voice
Manik put Nandini down and looked here and there
Cabir- yaar are you guys sure you'll want to work or do something else
Manik- cabir shut up
Cabir was about to tease them more but alya Mukti and Navya came in
Navya- guyss!!! We have decided to help you'll
Manik- ya guys please help us na we have a lot of work
Nandini- what ya ! If the principal sees us we're screwed man
Mukti-come on Nandini he'll do nothing
Alya- so let's start!
They all got to work and helped Manik and Nandini how true friends help each other. Their bond was getting stronger and stronger. After a long working session they decided to take a break
