The First Mistake

Questioning

I sit with Anna at the end of the bed resting my hand on her knee, She looks into my eyes as i stare back at hers. "it's going to be alright now,  we can trust these people." I said with a gentle reassuring voice.  "Why did they come fully armed and without saying a word? You think that they just do that?"  she looked at me puzzled placing her hands in her face I wrap my arm around her shoulder holding her as if she was a scared child.  She was right why didn't they announce their arrival or at least try to say who they were?  I've gotta figure all this shit out,  for the sake of Anna I need to be couscous and I have to get back up plans ready. "Let's just rest Anna we have a long day ahead tomorrow."  i tell her as I get up and lock the door.  "Alright your right,  goodnight."  "Goodnight."  We both say it as if it's our last night together,  all this time alone on the sea we thought we would be the last people each other sees before death... Shit I forgot to ask for the other thing.  Oh never mind she is already sleeping.  I lay beside her facing the other direction just so she doesn't get any ideas... "Wee woo wee woo"  What the?  A siren is going off outside the door sounds like a speaker.  I jump up and open the door.  "You finally up sunshine?"  a Deep raspy voiced man says to me,  he's tall taller than me a great big beard and a scar under his lip.  He has a almost Irish accent. "Yeah let me get..."  Anna grabs my shoulder turning me around asking... "What's going on?"  "we got work to do."  I say to her as the big guy walks away.  "Let's go Anna!"
