Sam woke up the next morning. For her the night before felt like a dream, but she knew it was all real.
She smiled thinking of it again, but frowned when she realized she had to get up for school.
She checked her time and she had 1 hour to get ready.
So she hurried and took a quick shower and slid on some clothes.
From there she looked around the house to see if Selina and Cataline waited for her but they didn't so she left out the door and started walking to Gotham High.
She knew she would be a little late but she didn't care.
"Hey! Sam!" She heard someone calling behind her so she turned and saw Jason running up to her.
"Shouldn't you be at school by now." He asked finally catching up to her.
She nodded. "Yeah but I woke up late and my family already left."
Jason looked confused."they didn't wake you up?"
She shook her head. "Don't you usually ride in a limo?"
Jason nodded. "Yeah but I wanna be like a regular kid going to school."
She nodded and slightly smiled.
While they were walking it was quiet an awkward type of quiet.
Jason would sometimes try to talk to her but it'll be a short little conversation.
Soon they both had gotten to Gotham's High.
From there they went their separate ways,Sam was about to go and look for Maureen but she pulled away by someone
"Ow!" She said as the person made her fall.
"Sorry kid." The person said
Sam looked up and saw someone she didn't expect to see. "What are you doing here?"
"I need to talk to you."
"At school!?"
"Its important, we need to go somewhere else."
Samantha signed. "Follow me but I'm blaming you if I get in trouble."
