Season 4 Ep06- No Tell

Derek was scared. He was trying to hold the convulsing boy down on Deaton's table but his muscles weren't working. He was as weak as he had been as a baby.

He knew it was something to do with the vault in Mexico- his eyes were gold again and once upon a time he would have been happy but now his blue eyes had become a part of him and now they were gone and his anchor was slipping.

Stiles was the other side of the werewolf, struggling even harder than Derek to hold the werewolf down.

"Use your wolf powers" demanded Stiles. His hair was flat against his head and he was sweating with the exertion of holding the injured werewolf.

Derek sank inside. He didn't want to tell Stiles what was happening to him.

"If he isn't still this could kill him" warned Deaton but they couldn't try any harder because the boy convulsed violently throwing Derek across the room.

Derek scrambled up and noticed an unhealed cut on his arm. He frowned.

There was a thump and Derek looked up to see that his uncle had punched the beta causing him to lose consciousness.

Immediately Deaton cut along his chest and a puff of sulphur coloured smoke escaped with one last convulsion.

Derek looked down at his arm- the cut had healed. He waited for a snarky reaction to the events that had just happened from Stiles but one didn't come and Derek looked up.

Stiles was collapsed in the corner of the room- presumably from where the werewolf had seized violently and threw Derek across the room. Stiles must have been thrown too.

"Deaton!" gasped Derek as he rushed to the human's side. Deaton was already beside him.

As Deaton felt Stiles' forehead his eyes flickered open.

"Wha-wh- I'm fine" he protested weakly, sitting up.

"I think you need to go to the hospital- you have a mild concussion." Advised Deaton.

"Yeah sure"

Derek's hearing wasn't strong enough to hear the flutter of Stiles heartbeat which signified a lie but if he had heard he would have found out that it was because his dad was so short on money and couldn't afford the bills and offered to pay.

But Derek couldn't hear the tell.
