You were planning on making Jack dinner that night since he had become really stressed over the pass couple of weeks. After loads of thought you decided to make a broccoli and chicken casserole that you had found on Pinterest. After going to the grocery store you came back and went to get the large pan.

It was at the very, very top of the cabinets. The ceiling was really high which meant the cabinets were really high. You tried to stand on the counter-top, which didn't work. You carefully tried to jump, which almost cause you to break your spine as you fell backwards onto the carpet.

"Y/N! Are you okay?!" Jack screamed as his footstep sounds became closer. "Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." You said, getting up off the ground and rubbing your head.

"What in hells name did you try and do?" He laughed hugging you and kissing your head.

"Well," you started off slightly laughing, "I was going to make dinner, a casserole if you will. The casserole pan is at the very top and I couldn't reach it so I tried to jump on the counter-top and I fell backwards."

Jack fell down laughing as you crossed your arms and glared at him. "I'm sorry Y/N, you're just so fairy like! You're so short! I thought I was short but I was mistaken," Jack said, pausing as he felt the heat of your stare driving into his brain, "I'll get the pan. You could've just asked me... fairy."

You scoffed and playfully slapped his bicep. "You're not tall either."

"Taller than you." He said under his breath as he grabbed the casserole pan and set it down on the counter.

"Whatever," you started, "but thank you." You finished trying to stand on your tippy-toes and kiss his cheek. He laughed as he bent down so you could kiss his cheek before he moved his head to the right and your lips touched.

"Jerk." You muttered, laughing.

"I love you, too, Y/N."
