I walked down the corridor, through old wooden doors. As I entered the room opened up into a large hall there where archery targets and training dummy's lining the walls. Training on them where my brothers and sisters of the Dark Brotherhood. They turned to me, Mala our leader greeted me with a nod. "Mortem you have returned, is the deed done?" she sneered.

"Without a scream," I laughed. "I had a run in with a thief, tried to chase me down after I'd finished off my target," I started "he almost caught me too. Why was that job so important that I had to do it immediately, I was already on a contract."

My lungs screamed, as one of my brothers in blood, pulled my head out of the water. "You should know better than to ask questions." Mala said as she drove my head back under. As I broke the surface again, I gulped the air back into my lungs. "I am truly sorry mistress," I pleaded.

"That is not good enough. You are to leave here at once I don't want traitors in my order." Mala said firmly.

"What?" I exclaimed. "when have I ever betrayed the brotherhood?"

"An intruder is amongst us and I have reason to believe, that you are the one assisting them," Mala said furiously. "deal with him," she said to the surrounding others. A fist hit me in the back of the head sending me unconscious.

"Betrayed? But how? Who?" I was dreaming. My body dead to the world but, my mind furiously screaming with know body to witness, a land of darkness and emptiness had full control of me. "Why have I been blamed for somebody else's iniquity against the Dark Brotherhood?" So many questions were filling my head, then it all made sense. I had struggled to get into the Brotherhood but, I always new I wasn't one of the most liked assassins there. A lot of them were jealous of my increased skill and that the Master before the Mistress Mala, favored me over all the rest of my brothers and sisters of the darkness. This wasn't a miss conception, they where trying to banish me from the Brotherhood out of sheer hatred at the fact that I was better than them.
