Have you ever wanted?

Wanted so bad

That you would think

“With this my life would be complete”

So that if I were to give it to you

You could be but dead

And your heart would not race

If I held a gun to you head

Your life would not flash before your eyes

For after all you are complete

There is but one thing

That with, my life would be complete

Yet perhaps my heart would race

And perhaps my life would flash before my eyes

But I know that with this thing

I can die

I can meet my maker

I can fall into eternity

Though eternity is a huge word

With a grand meaning

And I can say it with confidence

Knowing that when I die

I will have this thing with me

I will have this love to comfort me for all eternity

And his name is Jesus
