I woke up in the middle of the night to hear more fighting and screaming.
I suppose I can't be too upset because summer break had just began. I wanted to get away from the screaming, so I asked if I could go to Amber's house to have a sleepover.
Like I expected, they said yes. My mom usually didn't care because she was always busy cooking and shopping. I called Amber to make sure she was okay with me coming over.
I packed my pajamas, toothbrush, sleeping bag, pillow and a book, just in case. Then I started to get dressed. I wore a pink dress with pale blue flats.
Her house was around 3 minutes away.
I got greeted by her mother.
"Hello Celia, come on in. Amber's in her room."
I started to head upstairs. It's pretty strange that her mom is slightly nicer to me than my actual mom.
Like I thought, Amber was on her computer playing Minecraft. I played the game once when she said it was fun, but I never played since.
"Hi," I said.
"Hey. Want to play some board games?" She asked. She always got straight to the point because she "doesn't want to waste time".
"Sure, how about Clue?" I asked her. My favorite game was Clue, but hers was Monopoly.
"Fine, just because we played Monopoly last time." She sighed.
"Okay then, let's get set up." I said quickly. We got set up pretty quickly and started to play.
We finally finished and I won once again. We then watched her favorite movie. But before that, her mom made us spaghetti and meatballs paired with homemade smoothies.
When we finished eating, we got some popcorn for the movie and more smoothies. We went upstairs to her room and watched it on the big screen. It was funny and great. We decide to then play some games on her console. That's when I realized she had way more things then me. She had a console, big TV and a much bigger room. We both decided to play Mario carts. Mario carts was super fun. She won.
Wow, I can't believe we played for a whole hour! It felt like only 5 minutes. We had dinner then played a few other games and went to bed.
