My baby: I can't wait for tonight. 10 months together baby❤️

Me: I know 😍 it's been the best 10 months of my life🙈 tonight's gonna amazing❤️

My baby: I'll be there at 7. But right now I'm gonna go and shower because it's been a long day and I kinda smell😂❤️

Me: So that's what I smell😂 ok baby, I'll see you later. Love ya ❤️

My baby: Love you too darling❤️

I need to get ready for tonight. The only problem is, my son. Y/n Jauregui-Rosser. Don't get me wrong, I love my son more than anyone else but the dating part is a hard subject. His dad, Jack, is an army officer and is constantly away with work.

It's why we divorced, I still love him but not like I used too. Y/n was only 6 months when I had decided that I couldn't be there anymore. We spent so much time apart that I couldn't put myself through the heart break time and time again, and I didn't want y/n to go through it as often as he would. It went smoothly, the divorce, Jack understood why I couldn't stay in our relationship anymore. And due to him being away for so long I got fully custody of y/n. But Jack does see him as often as he can.

Anyway, about 2 years ago I met someone. For the first time in almost 16 years, I found someone I could be with. I found a rock for me. Someone to be there when I need them. Yes I have y/n but he'll go to college in 2 years and I'll be all alone. But this man, he makes me happy and I don't feel lonely. He gets why I don't want y/n to know about us right now and he doesn't push me to tell y/n either. We'd normally go out when y/n was away, with Jack or with his friends. But I feel like that time is coming soon and I don't know if this family is ready for it.

Your P.O.V

So for some odd reason my mom is getting ready for what I believe is a date. But she's being weird about it.

"Mom?" I call her from the living room

"Yeah y/n?" She calls back from her room
