"Jas!"My mom yelled.
"I'm coming!"
I sat my laptop off to the side then went downstairs.
"Yes?"
"We have some new neighbors."She smiled.
"Um okay."
"So we are gonna go over and welcome them!"She smiled.
My mom is always trying to welcome someone into the neighborhood, I'm sure they will get to know us. My name is Jasmine but people call me 'Jas' for short, I'm 18 and yeah, that's about it.
"Come on girl." She said.
I grabbed my phone and followed my mom outside.
"Hello!"My mom yelled as she spotted a women walking out of the house.
"Hello."The lady smiled.
"I'm Olivia and this is my daughter Jasmine."My mom smiled.
I smiled and waved as she looked at me.
"Nice to meet you, my name is Lauren and my son is somewhere around here, give me one second." Lauren said."EJ!" She yelled.
I looked up as a boy came walking over to Lauren. I'm guessing that's her son.
"Yeah mama." He said.
"This is Olivia and her daughter Jasmine." Lauren said as she smiled at us.
"Hi, I'm EJ." He said as he looked back at us.
Not gonna lie he's cute, but I have a boyfriend named Daniel (He's from the Bomb Digz) and we have been dating for a year now. 😍😍

Don't matter who I date my best friend Brittany doesn't like them.But I love her though. Like she knows that I'm in a relationship.
I plugged up my phone then went to take a shower. It was around 10:30, but I was hella sleepily. Summer is soon coming to a end and then I'll be starting my senior year!
After I was finished with my shower, I went downstairs to see what my mom and dad were up too. Once I hit the bottom step I had seen Lauren and her son sitting in the living room.
I looked down at what I was wearing, which was a black sports bra and some pink fuzzy pajama pants.
"Speaking of Jasmine." My dad said.
"Hey daddy."I said as I hugged him. I waved to Lauren and her son then took a seat on the couch. The real question is 'Why are they here?'. Why does my parents have to be so welcoming to people?
" So Elijah will be attending SouthHigh."My mom said.
"Oh that's good, you'll love it there. Do you do any sports?"
"Yeah basketball."He said.
"That's good, we have a good ass basketball team."
"Watch your mouth girl." My mom said.
"Mom, I'm eighteen. When are you gonna stop treating me like a baby."
"When you go off to college."She laughed.
"Whatever.I'm going to bed."I said as I stood up."Goodnight everyone."
I smiled then headed upstairs to my room, closing the door, I went over to my phone to see if I had any missed calls or text messages.

I smiled then turned off my phone. I turned off the lights then went to bed.
