Me and Elijah have been hanging out everyday, all day. Honestly I'm happy with my life, my dads doing a lot better and our relationship is getting stronger. With graduation around the corner, I have to make sure I have everything done.

"Brittany we have to wear all white to senior breakfast."

As of right now me and Brittany are shopping for the upcoming graduation events & the boys went to find their stuff.

"They don't have anything fucking white." She said as she looked through the racks at Charlotte Russe.

"Girl they have a bunch of white dresses over there."

Was the girl blind?

"I don't really like those." Brittany said.

"Well do you have a actual graduation outfit?"

" No but I don't want to wear white for that.She said as she looked at a red dress.

" You're very difficult."

"I'm aware." She laughed.

"Y'all still in this store babe?" Mike asked as him and Elijah walked in.

"Sadly." I mumbled.

"Shut up Jas." Brittany said.

"Are you going to any of the after parties?" Mike asked me as we all sat down to eat.

"Probably. I haven't really planned anything yet."

"Shit I'm down." Elijah said.

"I'm so ready to be done with high school."

"Girl same, I've had enough." Brittany said as she rested her head on Mikes shoulder.

Damn high school flew by, but I'm more than ready to be done. All the drama this year has brought, made me not even want to come to school, but I had to graduate.

"Hey daddy, how ya feeling?"

"I'm doing better baby girl." He said as turned down the tv.

"That's great. Have you been taking your medication?"

He nodded his head"Everyday."

I smiled and gave him a hug.

"Are you ready for the big day?" He asked.

"Super excited, I'm finally done with high school dad."

"That's great baby. But I'm gonna get some rest." He smiled.

"Okay, love you dad"

I smiled and closed the bedroom door then walked downstairs.
I entered the kitchen and heard my mom crying.

"What's wrong mama?"

"Oh nothing honey. "She said as hurried to wipe her face.

"Mom tell me what's wrong."

"He didn't tell you, oh lord." She said.

"Tell me what? What's going on mama?"

"Honey it's you're father." She said as she sat down.

"Mom just tell me!"

Why won't she just tell me what's going on.

"You're father is dying."
