Okay, honestly, if you're going to write a fanfic, follow your grammar rules. If you want to say "Fuck it" while writing your A/N's, fine - but that's a different section.

Right. Let me show you two types of writing. This touches more than grammar, but I am Pyro and I do not give a shit. I'm honestly doing this just to get my mind off someone, this is just a bunch of fake-kinda-real salt.

It was a quiet morning, the beeping of an alarm clock piercing the silence. Katelyn let out a groan, practically rolling out of bed and almost landing on the floor. She glanced up at the clock (6:50 AM, she'd have to hurry to catch the bus in time.) and sighed. She'd have to get ready for school. Quickly getting ready, she checked her phone to see nothing new, as usual. A soft sigh escaped her lips, but what was she to expect?

Racing down the stairs, she looked over her shoulder to see her father lazily sipping a cup of coffee.

"Bye, Dad..!" she muttered, already out the door by the time he noticed.

... There was the bus. Stepping on, she found an empty seat and did the only logical thing - sit there. Minutes passed by as she waited, soon hearing a small voice amongst the chatter.

"Hi, um... Can I sit here..?"

She looks up to meet the eyes of the speaker. A brunette, it seems, with blazing amber eyes.

"... Sure." Katelyn moves her bag for the girl to sit.

"W-Well, um... What's your name?"

"Katelyn. And you are?"

"Aphmau. My name's Aphmau."

Katelyn gives a distracted nod, sighing as she looks out the window.

Ah, she hates school.

Yes, this touched multiple points. The main thing being grammar and characterization. I'm only to speak of grammar this chapter, characterization is next chapter. If you skimmed all I wrote previously, that's fine. If you read it, that's fine too.

We will be going over:

Paragraphs - when to start one.

Punctuation - what is appropriate and what isn't.

The next part shall be:

Capitalization - that shift key isn't just for show, you know.

Speech - how to not look like a dumbass when writing dialogue.
