~4 light hours later~
Sphene and Andromeda are walking through a forest like planet called Jungslin. Sphene is holding Andromeda's hand leading the way, completely focused on their quest in this mission, walking kind of in a fast pace.
"Hey Sphene."
"Yeah what's up, Anne?" Andromeda thought it sounded weird having that as her nickname from him and hearing it for the next couple months, hopefully just months and not years.
"Umm, what are we doing right now?"
"Are you serious, Anne?"
"What?"
"You really don't pay attention. We're here to find a crystal to help us on our next little quest. If we do it right, well, less time you'll be here and the faster we get a balanced lifestyle here in Ashindroid." He says rushing
*Is he ratting me out? Wow, rude. I don't know if he's my guy for this mission but oh well.*
"I have two more questions. Is it crucial and do we have to do it right now?"
"Not immediately but it is crucial. We can do it any time. Why?" He stops and turns around to look confused at Anne.
"It's just, I've been here only 4 light hours and-"
"Light hours? Endermins? What are you saying, sorry, but I don't understand the terms you use." He said, letting go of Anne's hand.
"Oh umm, light hours are the opposite of dark hours. Light hours are just the endertime in enderhours when it is light outside."
"I think when you say light hours, you mean days. The time when it's bright all around?"
"Yeah, that's it."
"Okay, so when we're talking about what you say endertime, just say time. And light hours are days. And enderhours are hours, endermins are minutes and enderseconds are seconds. Oh and for darks hours, just say night."
"Knight?"
"Yeah night. Without the k."
"Yeah, okay.."
"Now, continue with what you were going to say."
"Oh, umm.. I REMEMBER! Alright so, I've only been here 11... days? Yeah, so, can't we just take it easy like start off with a small quest that helps a small planet and then grow from that?"
"Nope, it's go big or go home."
"Well, I say go slow and progress because I'm not going home any time soon."
"Do you want to go home any time soon?" He said with a smirk
"Uh, of course!" She said, with a surprised and doubtful expression.
"Then we gotta go big so you can go home" He said trying to grab her hand again. Anne flinched and backed away a bit.
"I just want to know you a bit better, you do realize this is absolutely not an overnight thing, right? We have a lot of time." She said with a small smile.
"There's no need for getting to know me better." He crossed his arms saying so.
"There definitely is, I don't even know what your personality is like. How are we supposed to work together if we barely know each other?" She said sassily.
"What are you hinting at, Anne?" He said raising an eyebrow.
"Are we safe here? I just want to see if we can really work well together."
"Umm."
"AS TEAMMATES! You know what I meant! To see if we could actually develop a friendship."
"Oh, yeah sure. I mean, there is a cave over there, that's probably safer. I don't like taking breaks, but fine. If it'll make you more trustworthy." She grabbed her arm and ran to the cave, just in case so they don't get seen by monsters.
It's a small cave that just ends immediately but they have enough space to walk inside of it a little bit."So, umm." Anne said, sitting on a log with her legs crossed, cupping her hands in front of her looking kind of shy.
"You didn't plan this out, huh?" Sphene said with his arms spread out behind him by his sides holding him while he sat on the ground with his legs spread out in front of him.
"Well, no. How about a game of 20 questions?"
"Alright, how do you play?"
"It's simple. You ask one question to me, I answer and then I ask one question to you and we go on until we both asked and answered 20 questions."
"Okay cool, I'll go first. How do you activate your wand? As in how do you cast a spell?" He said curiously.
"That's simple, I just sing a melody. They're all titled differently so I know what the spell does. It's the same as saying words when casting a spell, except I sing something." She said, smiling. Sphene started smiling too, but it was small.
"Okay, now here's my question. Do you have any powers?"
"Yeah, but it's not as impressive as yours."
"Oooooh, show!" Anne said anxiously
"Alright fine. It's basically the power to use an aura around me's strength to create a light ray or any sort of thing I want but it has to be made of light. Elves are prone to be charismatic and the more charismatic you are, the more powerful you are. We call it the sunshine effect. usually people say that if you are sweet and charismatic you're a little ray of sunshine. It's stupid but whatever. As you can tell, I'm not that powerful."
"You can be."
