"Not that I'm not glad to see you guys but you didn't have to come all the way to London to surprise me." Normani was grateful that her parents took the time out to come see her truly she was but she's a little bit disappointed that she couldn't have sex with her girlfriend now.
"I know sweetie but it's been awhile since your dads been able to come with me so we thought this would be the perfect time since your birthday was just yesterday why not." Her mother was very excited to be her with the two people she loved most in her life her daughter and husband. She missed the good old days they used to have but she's glad Normani is living her dream and she's more than glad that she can live it with her.
"Normani who's at the door?" Camila had been waiting for Normani for five minutes so she walked out their bedroom to see who was taking up her girlfriends time. The last people she wanted to see at this moment was Normani's parents. Don't get her she loves them even as much as her on parents but she couldn't help blush and feel a bit guilty that she was about to do some naughty things with their daughter. She's even more glad she put on a robe before walking out that would cause a whole other story. So she plastered the biggest smile on her face she could even pull and enveloped each parent in a warm hug.
" I've missed you guys so much. Especially my d-ham you've been hiding in Houston for way to long. It's so great to see you guys.
"Why thank you Camila honey because you seem more excited than our own daughter to see us." Mama Dre said while shaking her head playfully
"I mean I am glad to see you guys extremely really I am".
Camila smacked Normani upside the head.
"Take their things to their room silly since you don't wanna greet them properly. I'll fix us some tea and cookies I guess."
"Fine fine ok. But I don't want tea and I want cookies just not those." Normani mumbled the last part so her parents wouldn't her. Expect Camila sadly her father but he was far from upset he laughed and grabbed his bags while Normani grabbed her mothers and made their upstairs he feels like he should have talk with his daughter while the ladies fixed tea.
"That sounds delightful Mila let me wash my hands and come help you."
"Only if you insist I don't mind doing it myself."
"Non sense plus we can have a little girl chat about our boo things while their gone." Camila couldn't help but laugh and accept the offer.
(Meanwhile upstairs)
"Mani I think it's time we have a little chat."
Normani was so not in the mood for this they had "the talk" already she really doesn't need to hear it again at 20.
"Really dad? I'm 20 years old now I don't think I need the talk."
"I just want you to be prepared when you and Camila decide to have sex."
" I was prepared extremely prepared. I was ready from the day me and her started dating."
That took her father by surprise. He didn't expect Normani to have had sex already he was some what proud. He couldn't help but pat her back.
" That's my girl. Laid down the ole Hamilton charm. So how'd it go. I hope you lived up to the Hamilton name we tend to be extremely pleasing in the bedroom. Normani couldn't believe she's have this conversation right now but since it seems like she can't escape might as well let it out.
"It was great dad not just to have sex just to feel close to her. Show her I love her and cherish her in a physical way. We've only done it once and ironically enough it was on my birthday so it was really something. And as for laying it down...." Normani lift up her shirt to show her father the scratch marks Camila left on her whole entire back. Her father couldn't help but tear up a little bit. He always wanted a son to talk about these moments with but since Normani was born with the male parts. He loved and protected his daughter anyway but he still felt as if he can still have conversations like this with her.
"Normani I'm so proud of you. That's my girl gotta show these ladies how we do you know. But remember to always treat them right and love them. Well I can see you really did enjoy your birthday."
"Thanks dad and trust me best birthday ever. But I really love Camila dad I see a legit future with her I want her to be my wife,mother of my children someone I can grow old with."
"Sounds like your ready for marriage kiddo. But it's not a joke it's a lifetime commitment no matter how much divorce is out there. It's still very strong bond you share with the person you love. You know I was about the same age just a bit older when I wanted to marry your mother. Are you sure your ready to raise a family and care and protect them?"
"Dad I've never been more sure in awhile. I'm ready to marry her I need Camila in my life she accepted me for who I am and I'm ever so grateful. And as for the protection part trust me I got that all figured out." She really didn't wanna tells her father about the fight at least not yet.
"Well Normani then I think your ready for your birthday gift then." He stands up to go to his suitcase to retrieve a small velvet box.
"This was my moms ring when her a grandpa got married. When she died she told me to pass it on to my son but as you can that didn't happen. I got somebody even better I had you. My parents had a great and loving relationship that lasted over 60 years and the love never died even when my father passed away. So here take it and when your completely ready give it to Camila."
The ring was huge ring at least 17 carats. Normani didn't expect to have this kind of talk but she's glad she did. She held the ring in her hands and knew for a fact she wanted to give it to Camila.
"Dad you don't know how much this means to me. I really can't explain it. I love Camila with everything inside of me it bursts into flames every time I see her or hold her. I know she's the one for me."
"I know sweetie. I can see it in the way you guys look at each other."
"I'm popping the question before you guys leave now gives me a whole new reason. I gotta fly her parents out here too. Plus I need to find a way to ask her."
"I don't mean to stress you but we're here for a week but we'll work on ways tomorrow let's go see how our ladies are doing. Oh but before we leave did we interrupt something when we got here?"
"You guys sure did I was gonna get lucky a second time but this surprise was worth it."
"Trust me Mani there will be plenty of times to get it on when your married. But I still apologize for the cockblock it sucks. But married sex is better."
