Kiaya woke up. Mario was still sleeping so she carefully undid herself from Mario's arms. "Babe what are you doing?" Mario asked in a sleepy voice. Kiaya just kept walking and Mario followed.
"I'm just getting something to eat" kiaya said. She got out the blueberries and two sparkling ice drinks and sat them on the table where Mario was seated. Mario grabbed a blueberry and threw it in the air and it fell back into his mouth. Kiaya watched him as he did that.
"What?!" Mario asked
"What am I not allowed to watch you do that?" kiaya said laughing
"Eh I mean it doesn't really bother me" he replied. Kiaya studied his face then took a sip of her drink. Just then they both heard her mom pull into the driveway. They went into the living room to get their shoes on then went on the porch.
"Mom do you need any help?" kiaya asked her mom
"I could use some" her mom replied. Mario and kiaya went behind the car and opened the back then grabbed some bags. "Thank you" she thanked Mario and kiaya as they walk towards the house. After they were done brining in bags and helping put the food away Mario and kiaya went upstairs.
"So this is your room?" Mario asked looking around.
"Yep" kiaya sat down. Mario noticed the portable piano in front of her window. He walked to it and pressed a key. Then sat on the bench and started to play a song. Kiaya sat there in awe. When Mario was done she clapped with a huge smile on her face. "That was beautiful,I didnt know you played the piano"
"Well yeah" Mario blushed
"Can you teach me that song?"
"Yeah sure"
"Good because I only know one song" she laughed "I can play 'Mary had a little lamb' that's it" Mario looked at her kinda of disgusted with her. "Hey!!Don't judge me!! I just started learning" kiaya laughed and so did Mario. Mario mentioned to kiaya to sit next to him and kiaya did. They practiced until Mario's family showed up for dinner.
"KIAYA AND MARIO COME HERE" kiaya's mom shouted up the stairs.
"COMING" Mario and kiaya said at the same time. They carefully ran downstairs and kiaya heard someone say "There you are Mario". Mario replied with an "Hi mom" while doing a short wave. Kiaya noticed two other girls and a man standing near Mario's mom.
"kiaya,This is my mom. My dad. And my two sisters,Cat aka:short for Catalina and that's Nacha". Mario pointed to each of them while introducing them to kiaya.
"Hi" kiaya said shyly.
"you're really pretty" Cat said as Nacha and Momma Selman agreed.
"Thanks" kiaya thanked them.
"Kiaya can you show the girls around please?" kiaya's mom asked her.
"Sure" she replied as she mentioned to Cat and Nacha to follow her as Mario tagged along.
