Chapter 10

It had been 2 weeks since I started staying with Kris. We were fucking everyday and couldn't keep our hands off of each other. We acted like just best friends when the others were around but fucked like porn stars when we were alone.
   Mine and KT's wounds were almost all the way healed. Chasidy had been blowing up my damn phone trying to talk but honestly I had been too focused on Quay's moves and Kris.
It was 9 at night and we were over at Riy and KT's place. Riy got a call from Wayne.
" Wassup yo?........ Yoooo Wayne.. The fuck?", Riy answered.
She puts her phone on speaker.
".... Somebody shot me man..", Wayne said sounding like she was choking.
We all jumped up with shock on our faces and Riy and KT grabbed their guns and shoes.
" Where are you Wayne?"
" My..house.."
" Hang in there babe. We comin'. Stay on the phone.", Riy tells her as we all jumped in my car.
" Hurry up man..", Wayne said in a weaker voice.
" We're coming man. Just hang on. We're right here." Kris said.
I hit 70 in a 45 trying to just get to her as fast as I could. Luckily no cops were around and we got there with no problems. I pulled up and put the car in park and we all jumped out and ran in her door. The door was cracked open and Wayne was laying on the floor beside her couch.
" Wayne!", Riy yelled.
" Oh shit!", Me, Kris, and KT yelled as we ran to her side.
She wasn't moving but she was looking at us. There was so much blood on my hands. I can still remember how it felt running down my hands while I put pressure over the bullet wound on her chest.
" Call 911 yo!", Riy yelled.
Kris called an ambulance and they got there in about 5 minutes. Riy rode with Wayne, and me, Kris, and KT drove.
   When we got there, she was in surgery. Riy was in the waiting area. She was taking it majorly hard because her and Wayne had been like sisters since they were like 8. Wayne was 26 at the time and Riy was 25. Kris was 23 and KT was 25.
   The doctor came out.
   " The family of Tiana Wallace?"
" That's us.", I said as we stood up and walked over to him.
" I'm sorry.."
"No no no! She's not..", Riy pleaded with tears in her eyes.
" No she's not dead.."
" Okay then what?", KT asked.
" We did everything we could. We got the bullet out. Thanks to someone keeping pressure over the wound, she didn't bleed out. It barely missed her heart and we were quick enough to save her..However, she is in a coma from the lack of blood that was getting to her brain. We have to keep her blood flowing if she's going to make it."
Kris hugs Riy.
"Can we see her?", I asked.
" Yes but only 2 at a time please."
We all got in there to see her. Riy and I stayed incase she woke up. She didn't wake up until late the next night. She didn't remember anything at first. She just told us she remembered being shot and calling us.
The doctor said her memory should come back within a couple days and it did. 2 days later they let her out. She went home with Riy and KT. A day after she had been let out, she started to remember more. We were all sitting around in the living room at Riy's house and Wayne got silent.
" You good?", Riy asked.
"..I remember now yo.", Wayne said.
" What do you remember?", I asked.
" I remember coming home from the corner store by my house...I got home and sat on the couch and started watching tv. My door was locked. I remember lockin' that shit. I started to fall asleep 'cause I had just got off work about a hour before. I was sleep, I guess, and I felt somebody standing over me. I opened my eyes and they pulled the trigger.."
" Who?", Riy asked getting anxious.
" I couldn't see. Whoever it was had on a ski mask, a black hoodie, and grey sweatpants...When they left, I called y'all."
" Damn..", I said looking at Riy.
