They let Riy go with only having to do probation and 500 hours of community service. Me, on the other hand, I got 10 years for being there when Quay was killed and fleeing the scene. The jury found me guilty of contributing to the situation or some shit. I heard that Quay's cousins got 30 years a piece because they had the unregistered weapons on them, her blood in the car, fled the scene, and dropped Quay at the hospital and tried to run from the cops. Ol' dumbasses.
All my " bros" and Chasidy come to check on me all the time. Riy has a new job working in construction for a big company. Wayne works for the same company. KT is still out there hoeing haha. She works as a bartender. Kris has a girlfriend now and works as a chef at Ihop.
Chasidy and I are not together. I didn't want to hold her back. She said she would wait for me but honestly I don't want her to. That's a whole lot of years to be by yourself. I couldn't do that to her. Word is she's talking to some stud now. I just hope she happy.
I have a lot of time invested in here and a lot of time left to spend enclosed in these walls. Tyler's been working hard to get me out on good behavior. I don't know... Guess we'll see how it goes...
