Liaya's P.O.V

My house

7:23 p.m.

I just got home from my Granny Gran house. She threw it down. I'm glad I got a plate when I did. Man them hungry ass niggas at her house ain't no type of joke.

I'm just now walking through the door of the house. I can hear Shawn on the phone.

"......... hell naw Ray'Quan. Ion care she's not coming. If you come imma shoot ya ass up. Now I'm done talking. Your dismissed." I guess he hung up the phone then.

I can't believe it. My Doner has been calling Shawn? For what? I'm curious, but curiosity killed that cat. Right?

"Liaya!!!!" I hate when he screams my name.

I got startled. "Ummmmmmm yes!" I started walking towards his office. Where he always be.

"Why in the hell aren't you dressed?" That's messed up. It's only 7 something last time I checked.

"Dinner is at 9. I just came from Granny's house. She did my hair. Like it?" I spinner so he could look at it.

After I was done spinning. He smiled weakly. "Love it." He kissed my forehead.

"Ok well go get ready because by 8:55 I want you coming down the damn steps. Do you hear me?"

I laughed. "Alright Shawnie!" I am the only one, besides Granny that can call him that. Any other hoes I swear imma punch them in their throats and beat the hell out of em! Don't do that.

"Aight I got to handle something then imma be back to come get you." He tell me while grabbing his keys, phone, and wallet. "If you need me call me."

I nodded. "Alright Shawnie! Love you!"

He turned back before leaving out and smiled. "Love you too girl. Now go get ready." And with that he left out.

I started running up the stairs. Once I got upstairs I was tired as hell! I'm mad we got to many damn steps. Whoever invented steps I wanna ask you one thing: why in the hell did you invent damn steps? Outta all damn things to create. What is so special about the damn steps?

Once I got to my room I went straight to my dresser. I made sure everything was there. It was when I left it.

So I walked to the bathroom and started the water. When I was done checking the temperature I turned on some music. The first sone that came on Jango was "Heaven" by Jamie Foxx.
