13. | Chapter Thirteen
We finally arrived to the restaurant and I didn't feel underdressed anymore. There were many women dressed like me and many dressed like Alondra. I guess it didn't really matter. We both looked amazing anyway. As we walked into the restaurant, girls passing by winked at Seth and Austin and I quickly grabbed Seth's hand making him chuckle and kiss me tenderly.
"Relax baby girl. I'm all yours. Forever and always." He said, before kissing my lips again. I nodded and we walked towards the front lady. She smiled at us.
"Hello! Welcome to La Bruschetta!" She chirped. The boys smiled at her.
"Hi. We have a reservation under Garcia & Moore." Austin said. She looked down at her notebook in front of her and nodded, finding their names.
"Of course! This way." She said, grabbing 4 menus and walking over to a booth. She set down the menus and the boys let Alondra and I slide in first before they took the outside. The lady smiled and pulled out a notepad.
"Can I get you started with anything to drink?" The lady asked us.
"Um, yes. Can we have the Cabernet Sauvignon, Derby, Paso Robles, Reserve?" Austin ordered. She nodded.
"Red or White wine? What year?" She asked.
"Red. 2006." Seth ordered. She nodded.
"That's the oldest wine we have sir." She said. Austin and Seth nodded.
"We know." They said.
"That's $48 a bottle." She said.
"Give us 3 bottles." Seth said. She nodded writing it down and disappearing.
"Okay, I see y'all. Y'all got money money." I asked. They both laughed.
"Whats the special occasion?" Alondra asked.
"We can't just celebrate a night our with the loves of our lives?" Seth asked. Alondra and I exchanged looks then looked at the boys.
"No you can't. Spit it out. What's going on?" I asked. The boys chuckled and shook their heads.
"Nothing. We just wanted to have a double date somewhere nice with the women we love the most." Austin said, shrugging.
"And order a hundred and forty-four dollars worth of wine?" I asked.
"Not any wine. Red wine." Seth clarifies as I roll my eyes.
"Oh woow, big difference." I said, with a lot of sarcasm in my voice.
"Something's going on and we'll find out." Alondra said, picking up her menu. Seth and Austin exchanged looks before mirroring her actions.
"No you won't." They said in unison with a smirk plastered on their faces. Alondra and I exchanged looks again before looking at our menu. After a couple of minutes of silence, the lady returned with 3 bottles of red wine. She placed them around the table then pulled out a notepad and pencil.
"Ready to order?" She asked. We all nodded. She looked over at Austin first.
"Can I have the Calamari Alla Siciliana?" Austin order. She nodded, writing it down the looked at Alondra.
"I'll have the Fusilli Amatriciana." She said, having trouble pronouncing it and making me giggle. The lady smiled and nodded, then looked to me.
"I'll have the Pappardelle Con Salsiccia Al Forno." I ordered. She nodded, writing it down then looked to Seth.
"I'll have the Lasagna Alla Bolognese." Seth ordered. She nodded, getting everyone's order then placed the notepad back into her little pocket. She pulled out a cork pop, placing it on one of the wine bottle's cork and twisted it, before pulling it off and letting some smoke come out from the top of it. She placed the opened wine in a bucket full of ice then disappeared.
"Imagine the bill." Alondra said.
"Don't worry about the bill. We've got that covered. Eat as much as you'd like." Seth said.
"Well, in that case.." I said.
"Waitress!" Alondra and I yelled, calling her back while Seth and Austin chuckled at us.
--
"Honestly, that bill was crazy." Alondra said, as we got up from the table and walked out of the restaurant.
"Not really. $300+ isn't bad." Austin commented.
"You're not the one who had to pay for it." Seth said. "It'll probably put a dent in my card." Seth mumbled. Then Austin & Seth looked at each other.
"Actually, no it won't because we've got that 2.5 billion dollar offer on our business." The boys said.
"What? No way!" Alondra & I exclaimed.
"Yes way!" Seth & Austin said, flipping their hairs.
"Oh my gosh, congratulations!" Alondra & I yelled, hugging both the boys.
"That explains the sudden celebration." I said.
"Kinda thought Seth was going to propose." Alondra whispered in my ear.
"So did I but with time it'll come." I told her. Seth than turned to me.
"I actually have something to tell you.." He started and I nodded for him to go on. He grabbed my hands in his than looked me in the eyes. "You know I love you right?" He asked. My smile dropped and I removed my hands from his.
"You're not breaking up with me are you?" I asked, backing away slightly. He furrowed his eyebrows and grabbed my hands again, this time interlocking our fingers.
"What? No no. I'm not breaking up with you.. I love you way to much to do that so I just have something I need to get off my chest." He said.
"Well spit it out already!" I said, getting slightly angry. He chuckled.
"Aracelí, you're the best thing to ever happen to me. I've been in countless relationships before but none of the other girls made me feel the way you do. Yes, sometimes things may not go the way we planned or wanted it to but we always find a way to get through it. The past couple of years without you in my life, was torture and I never want to live without you again so Aracelí.." He stopped, digging his hand in his pocket and getting down on one knee, making Alondra and I gasp.
"Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" He asked, opening the small suede box. I covered my mouth with my hands and hadn't realized I was crying till my vision got blurry. I rapidly nodded, and let out a sob.
"Yes, a million times yes!"
