20. | Chapter Twenty
Three years later
"Hey Alondra. How's little Elle doing?" I asked as I walked into her room and sat on her bed.
"She's doing good." She said.
"Where is she?" I asked looking around.
"Today's mommy's day off. She's at work with Austin. It's take your child to work day." She told me. "Where's Naomi and Noelle?" She asked me.
"Work with Dalton." I said. She gasped.
"Do you know what this means?! We can have our girls day out!" She yelled, quickly turning off her tv and making me chuckle.
"Go get dressed! We're going out!" She told me, pushing me out of her room. I chuckled and walked into my room, changing out of my home outfit into my going out outfit. I looked myself in the mirror and smiled at myself, nodding.
"Yep. I still make it work. Never would've believed I have 3 kids." I said.
I walked out of my room and into Nathalie's room. She was occupied in her toys.
"Hey Nat." I said, walking over to her and bending down to her level.
"Hi mommy." She said, combing her dolls hair.
"I see Auntie Alondra dressed you." I said. She nodded.
"Am I going back to grandma's?" She asked. I shook my head no.
"You're going out with mommy and auntie first, okay?." She smiled and nodded, standing up. She grabbed her little backpack that she carries around everywhere and handed it to me. She then ran out of her room and into Alondra's room as I followed her.
"Ooh, yes! Honey, you look gorgeous." I told her. She giggled.
"You don't think it's a bit too much for casual?" She asked me.
"Definitely not." I said.
"Well let's get going."
---
We decided to stop for ice cream before taking Nat to the park then my moms place so Alondra and I could go do "grown up things".
"Princess. Stop moving around, you're going to make a mess." I told Nathalie as she stood in her chair, shaking her butt in the air and eating her ice cream.
"Don't dance like that baby girl." I heard a deep voice say as Nathalie's body was lifted into the air and put back down on the chair as she erupted in the cutest laugh to ever come from her mouth.
Seth.
"Daddy!" Nathalie yelled, hugging him tight. He chuckled, kissing her forehead.
"Hey baby girl." He said, pulling away from their hug. Alondra and I exchanged looks and I looked down at my ice cream suddenly loosing my appetite. Oh how much I missed him.
"Where's mommy?" He asked her. Nathalie smiled cheekily and pointed at me. I could feel Seth's eyes burning a hole through the side of my head while I kept my head down.
"Aracelí?" He asked, surprised to see me. What? Didn't think I had time to spend with my kid? I looked up at him and gave him a fake smile.
"Hi.. Seth." I said, wanting this conversation to end already. Alondra being Alondra picked up Nathlie and set her on the ground. She grabbed her hand than looked at me.
"I'm taking Nathalie to the park. You two need this talk." She said, before walking away. I mentally cursed her and Seth sat down on the chair Nathalie was just dancing on. I sighed, playing with my ice cream.
"You look amazing." He told me, taking in my appearance.
"I know." I said, still playing with my ice cream. He sighed, taking my ice cream and throwing it away.
"Seriously, since day one you've been throwing away my food. Quit it." I snapped.
"I wanted to apologize. What went down the day at the hospital was uncalled for. You could've been my wife right now but I let my emotions control my heart. I love you so much Aracelí and I was so wrong to leave you all alone. I let my jealousy cover up my love for you and that wasn't right." He said.
"Seth, if you're here to ask me back out, then you'd better get to walking. I'm doing just fine without you. I'm moving on. You should too." I lied.
"I know it's too late to have you back and if I could go back in time and change this, I would in a heartbeat. But I can't. All I'm asking is that you let me see my daughter. I don't even know her name." Seth said.
"Her name is Noelle Claire Moore. She's 3 years old now and absolutely loves her sisters, Naomi & Nathalie. She's a spitting image of you and you are welcome to meet her anytime and make up with your best friend." I said. He looked down.
"Noelle.." He said, before smiling. He then looked up at me and nodded. "Austin won't talk to me anymore." He said.
"Because what you did was wrong! You left me for your sneaky assistant Anezka! I never once cheated on you, just broke up with you. One time! We're so toxic. You've hurt me and Austin sees that what you're doing is wrong. He's been a little bitch to me because he thinks I've moved on from you to Dalton which I haven't because my heart belongs to you but Dalton's doing his job and taking care of Naomi. What are you waiting for? Noelle is growing up and needs her daddy." I said. Seth nodded.
"I promise to start being a part of Noelle's life." He said. I smiled and nodded. Alondra and Nathalie returned back to the table and Nathalie jumped up onto my lap.
"Let's go home hmm? I've got some things I need to handle."
